Yeah KR happens pretty easily on these motors. I run 91+ and actually usually get 93 octane just to be sure. Make sure your maintenance stuff is taken care of too. If it hasn't been done, you should replace the gaskets on the top end of the motor (specifically the lower intake manifold gasket). Mine is already bad at 82k but luckily it seems to be leaking externally only so I'm putting it off until it warms up.

I've been pretty happy with my HSU subwoofer. I have the STF-2 (10" driver, 200 watts) which is the same as the vtf-1 in max extension mode. Mine is in a 11x15 room that is very open to my kitchen and hallways, so it's not a small area. Well if you put different size tires on the front and rear then the axles will turn at different speeds which would be bad for the transfer case. Probably bind it up. So just make sure the tires are the same size. Seems logical to me.

I'm no expert, but I'm calling BS. As long as the tires are the same diameter I don't see how they would hurt the transfer case. If the front two tires were a different size than the rears I could see it being a bad situation, but as long as they're the same it seems to me that you should be fine.

Well I guess being a TV salesman makes you know everything about HDMI cables. Just because your manager at Best Buy tells you that Monster is better doesn't mean it's true. Stores don't make that much money on the sale of TVs. Prices are so competitive that the markup is not that high. Where they make their money is in accessories like speaker wire and cables. So they push their WAY overpriced HDMI cables on the common guy who doesn't know any better. I bet you think that Monster speaker wire is worth paying 3x as much as another good quality, cheaper wire. Why would I use a Monster cable when all my cables work 100% fine. I get 1080p perfectly fine with no blocking or dropouts. I can bitstream TrueHD and Master Audio or send 7.1 Linear PCM over my cables. What exactly about the $100 more expensive Monster would be worth it? Now, I'm talking about cables that 95% of people will use (in the 6-10 foot range). If you need a 30 or 40 foot HDMI cable, then it would probably be wise to buy the better cables. But even at that point, I wouldn't buy Monster. I'd look at something like Blue Jeans Cable. VERY high quality cables with prices that are FAR better than Monster. Seriously, go on a home theater forum (AVSforum for example) and see how many people will agree with you that Monster cables are worth the money. Good luck. And most of those guys live and breathe home theater.

LOL. 100% wrong. I would never in my life buy a Monster HDMI cable. The markup on them is outrageous. 95% of people will do just fine with a cheap HDMI cable from a place like Monoprice. All my cables are from Monoprice and one of the is a 15 footer and it works 100% fine. Sure, Monster cables are better, but not nearly worth the money. I'll put my $5 monoprice cables against a $100 Monster cable any day of the week. If someone was looking for high quality that are better than Monster for less money, I'd recommend BlueJeansCable.com

Saw this earlier and thought it was awesome. The story wasn't amazing, but wasn't bad either. It carried the movie just fine, IMO. The CGI was amazing. The Na'vi looked awesome, and the detail in the closeups on their faces was extraordinary. It didn't look like CG, it looked like living, breathing creatures. Seriously, their planet was amazing and the CG work alone makes this movie worth going to see. I saw the 3d show (not Imax) and thought it worked well. There were a few in your face moments but overall it wasn't too much. I thought it definitely gave a few more "wow" moments than the 2d version would, although the color and detail would probably be better in the 2d version. I'm probably going to see it again later this week.

I'm going to see it pretty soon. If the movie is only decent I'll still be happy because the CGI and effects look impressive enough to carry the movie.

What about Ichi the Killer or Oldboy (or any of the vengeance trilogy)? I heard that Spielberg and Will Smith were making an Oldboy remake. Don't know if I'm down for that...

I would say that's not normal. I'm running an sae1200d in my Bonneville with stock alt and battery and I only get down into the 12s at full tilt on a bass heavy song. At average volumes it's not bad at all.

I'm pretty sure the guy above had it right. They don't just void your warranty. In order for them to reject a warranty repair they have to prove (or explain) that something that you did caused the failure of a part. For example, if you put a new exhaust on, they can't just say "oh, your warranty is gone now." But, if you have the new exhaust on and your o2 sensors go bad, they can say it's because of you and refuse the warranty repair. But, if something like your transmission starting going, they can't deny that because of the exhaust. One has nothing to do with the other. At least this was how auto warranties were explained to me. In the end, I guess Infiniti can say or do what they want, really. And the techs working on your car have no say in the matter. They don't make calls on what repairs are covered by warranty or not.
