closest i could find...took 5 min..then i lost interest. -
Way to man up bro-I don't generally knock anybody unless they're askin for it, and you're far from that..i just try to state the facts. Imma plexi+neon whore 24/7 so it gets my vote for sure. Plus I liked how he carpeted everything and kept it clean n tidy. Nonetheless, I have yet to do a cut through so I can hardley talk trash. Just tryin to clarify.

That's not chodes setup, although it is is similar-it's Jsmokes...nicer IMO. Srry chode...Plexi FTW.

Yea I make sure to rattle those guys windows every time I go to TAP on auburn. Is that place any good? I know what you're sayin about the previous regime-I went to a soundoff at that place (the last one I went to ever) and I had my build log/portfolio out showin folks my installs...the owner came out and was lookin through it and started askin if I'd be willing to "teach his guys custom work". I was like thnx I'm flattered n all but I have to finish college b4 I can commit to a 9-5. (My polite way of sayin-I dun think I wanna be "the big fish" in such a dirty pond..esp at age 24) I wish I could upload video from my phone from that day. I still have vids of steve doin a hairtrick w/ Bobby Gately's GF in the backseat of the HOE and Bobby upfront. He was runnin it off his PSP at like 1/2volt output or some madness and still HAMMERIN...RE subs then too I think.

Sweet! I was gonna say we need a links dept. by catagory too. Thnks for posting those I have like 500+audio favs saved too.

I wasn't even aware this sub existed...but I did notice something just now... Fi....X..... FIX. as in to repair/rebuild/recone. Maybe it was a sign. Any pics of these subs?

--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Eric B @ Oct 16 2007, 01:53 PM) 177787[/snapback]</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->I say port it through the rear deck...but with that nice of a new car, idk if i would ruin it like that.... Well I wouldn't say "RUIN". If you do it right, it can look quite nice, if not stock. You're best bet is OPEN it UP as much as possible-the biggest hole you can manage in the rear deck will let pressure into the cabin, the ski hole is a plus, seal the back side of the box from the front of the box, and ported should be louder (assuming apples to apples/12's to 12's, 15's to 15's) and the numbers you're loking for are very attainable w/ that much power. Look at Davids build in the Nissan-BLK SIN-he's doin the numbers ur talkin bout with 2-Re SX 12's ported. ~Chris.

Sayars Build
LSN2meBoom916 replied to Eric B's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
The whole thing started when he was working on his Jeep Cherokee I believe. He was Talking "bigger than he shoud've been" as most folks do esp on audio forums. He basically in an audio nerd from what i've seen and he was a loud mouth in his AUDIO CLASS which i read he took for certification. Nerdyness and or POOR people skills aside-the new build does look decent. I will reserve judgement till it's done but so far I am liking the amp rack/lightin setup along w/ the plaque/kicker logos. I'm not a fan of suede but It "gets er done" i spose, and his doors are decent although very "LOW TECH" looking IMO-He glassed his old ones in the Jeep and maybe he wasn't likeing how much flack he caught for them not being perfect. We shall see as it gets finished up. Hopefully he can keep the SoloX 18's up and running long enough to get it metered and hopefully THIS time He'll take the constructive critisism^^^^ to heart. -
1 round of .50 cal BMG ammo: $7.50 Compared to 50 rounds 9mm Pistol ammo: ~$10.00 Hitting your target from OVER a mile away and they never even heard the shot, despite the recoil sounding like a canon...Priceless...and fun stuff.

Need Some Help

Subs in the rear doors. 1 or 2-8's per side. I did a 2000ish Dokdge Dakota Quad cab and same scenario-ZERO room under seats and no willingness to mod the truck. I glassed the door panels and built out right to where the rear seat starts and up to the backs of the front seat. I managed .75cft on each side and was gonna run an audiobahnn 1000watt 10" sub in each door. The pods stuck out QUITE a bit but it was all glassed worked quite well IMO. I can post some pics if need be for a better idea of what I'm talkin bout. Rear doors, 4-8's and call it a day. ~2cents. -
Correct. That IS fake. Yes he fired rounds.Fast. No those shots did not take down that tree cuz those shots didnt hit the tree.He was all over the place. It's a Barret Light 50 or M82A1 -Fires the .50 cal BMG round semi auto as seen in the vid. It CAN take down a tree w/ a few rounds for sure. My Brother owns an Armalite AR-50. Bolt version of the same by a diff manufacture. $7.50 per bullet.

Take a paint roller/dynamat rolller (of any width u want) and wrap it tightly in vinyl material.Try to minimize the seam where the edges meet. If the vinyl has "defined" enough texture, rolling in on a surface covered in VINYL PAINT or other hard/semi-hard drying liquid (glue or gelcoat can work) will leave a layer of that material (glue/gelcoat) in the texture of the vinyl. You could also just "blot" it instead of rolling it to get the texture you want. Similar to making the orange peel texture on a wall in a house.

R.-Real T.-Time A.-Ananlyzer Mic that shows what freq's are being produced by all your speakers, and at what levels/how loud. Very useful in making an SQ car sound "flat" or correct imaging problems and cabin gains, etc. Pretty sure if you buy a TL it comes w/ the RTA setup or you might be able to buy them seperate for less $$$ than the combo but everyone I know that has a TL has an RTA too.
