That would be awsome thnx. I'm always intrigued by "crazy 8's" setups. The one you did in the Integra w/ 6AA 8's kinda got me thinkin/reinforced some research I had been doin on the matter. -

Nice. I like doing the same thing w/ my co workers 4-CVR8's off 400-500rms. They always guess something overboard and see those lil buggers chuggin away they become "believers"....then they ask when I'm free to build a setup like that for them. and the H2....Booooooooooooner! Bring on the build por favor. -

No. It "shouldn't". unless you include an actuall "column" or "volume" or air that can resonate at a particualr frequencey, it shouldn't give much if any BP effect. Do you rememeber all the whooplah/crappola about the box I built into Laws trunk being a BP enclosure? Well, I KNEW from the git-go everyone would say that and I KNEW it would have SOME BP characteristics (peaky on some notes/high and low like a BP) and it would thus MAXIMIZE the freq's that he'd want louder. Kinda making up for the lower power avail to the subs. The open end is what really keeps it from being a true BP. So without tubes/rectangle ports/or any volume of air to resonate, just making holes in ur rear deck will only let it breath into the cabin better-Like I did on the LEXUS, which now does a 145db on the epic- 160, despite the subs being as faaar away as possible and only breathing thru the deck.

Almost. 2-4ga cables = 1-2ga wire 2-2ga wires = 1-1ga 2-1ga wires = 1-0ga if it's "really" what it says it is, in any case... Some cable will be over/under marked. If you had 3 overkill 4ga that would be close to = 1/0ga. In either case, Megalo is correct on the NOT needing more cable, 1200rms is fine off 4ga. what 1200watt amp says it "requires" 1/0ga is my Q? If you want to and have the cable u'd be fine doubleing the cable up and running another one but actually GETTING IT INTO THE AMP...cleanly might be an issue. Maybe consider a reducer.

Lookin For A Good 4 Channel Amp! -list Of Amps Up!

Lawrence (The Law here on smd) is selling a ea4000 for $275 BNIB I think. -
Not sure what ur askin here bro. Might need to clarify some of it. "Double the 4ga"...going to the one 1200rms amp? or add a 4ga for another amp? or you saying add another amp to the existing 4ga? Very unclear here. Also, port should either be same side as subs or port back and subs 90 degress off as in sub up port back or sub back port up. This is to avoid cancellation.

Pi x R^2 .....(3.14X81)=254.57in^2 (254.57in^2)x8=20,620.2857in^2 ***EDIT*** Xmax on a fully Loaded BTL18 w/ Hixmax option would be 27mm I'm told. 27mm=1.10" so...If SD=20,620.2857in^2 and xmax is 1.10"... 20,620.2857in^2 X 1.10"=22,724.396in^3 22,724.396/1728=13.15069 CUBIC FEET......OVER 13cubic feet ONE WAY! SO.... On each ocillation/cycle (full stroke forward and back).... These 8-18's will move OVER 26cubic feet worth of air to the tune of what ever frequency you like BEST! Or roughly Twice what Steves Tahoe will do OUCH!

Don't need to be ashamed about it-It takes hard work to "escape" the mainstream. The fact that you are HERE, is a great start and you will be exposed to the "non-mainstream" or dare i say underground. The good stuff always starts out underground and werks it's way into the mainstream...AND DIES! The ones that stay true to the REAL, underground ideas, will always have a better product IMO. Sadly I think TC is sellin out to survive. In the end, its about survival for them and it IS business, but I REALLY wish they could find a way to avoid the price hike and essentiall "Punking out" on the online customers.
