  1. Sorry for your loss brodie, my condolences. My gpa on my moms side and my Nana on my dads side both passed away from cancer
  2. Other than hurting your ears from the clipping I wouldn't worry too much about damaging them because they are not even getting the recommended RMS anyways (assuming they are aftermarket). Just DL'd the version of Hard in Da Paint off Flockaveli and re-dl'd the version off Official White Label, the reason the Flockaveli version I didn't like it cuz the bass didn't hit as hard, now that I know a lot more about music I threw it on Audacity and saw its because its 39hz @ 13db compared to the mixtape version which is 39hz @ 23db! ONE ISSUE! The mixtape version audio volume is a lot quieter and sounds like crap AND on top of that when I played it in WMP I notice even though is quiet the whole thing has clipping, boosted a section of it in Audacity by 8db and it really brought out the terrible sound. So as far as Hard in the Paint goes, heavy bass with clipping and terrible sound quality or settle for quieter bass line but overall the song sounds a hell of a lot better
  3. Just wondering if this is just a regular ported box? I like my high output box from them, pic in sic
  4. yeah dubstep I play loud but I won't play dubstep for too long due to the highs being so harsh most the time. Are you powering your mids/highs off of an amp or headunit? Which mixtape is that Hard in the Paint off? I believe I have the one off his Official White Label which is on Datpiff for free, the version off his Flockaveli seems to really be lacking the same bass
  5. LMFAO wow, this deserves an epic facepalm, thats like asking if Itunes is good for purchasing music
  6. lol she said "LA face wit a Oakland booty"
  7. Yeah, flat spots = clipping but remember that equipment clipping is more dangerous than audio clipping, if your settings on your equipment are good just remember to be smart with the volume knob (aka no full tilt) if you know a song has a good amount of clipping in it. Take these two songs for instance, What Up clips on the quick bass hits (like most TX music) but sound perfectly fine, the Cousin Fik on the other hand you can audibly hear the distortion, I play the Slim Thug song but def not the Cousin Fik http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDQFwEk86l4 Peep this thread, I have some screen shots of clipped bass from Yelawolf's Radioactive album http://www.stevemead...nd-non-clipped/
  8. hell yeah, Guce is a Frisco legend haha, I forgot this album, still need to DL it. This beat reminds me of this track which slaps too, might be the same producer
  9. Yupp I got this too, should just be able to re-sync stuff when they release the new one.
  10. your phone is about to die, you should charge that asap lulz In other April Fools news go to any YouTube video and click the recently added Home Menu button, shit is lulz, mess around with the video order process. Its great
  11. He said 10's move faster than 12's and you said because they are smaller and working harder....you yourself just failed but I won't get into this discussion again lol there's already a recent huge thread on this
  12. pretty clean for the most part, should be good bass wise, song in general is ass though
  13. Bouta DL this mixtape, his last one The Statement 2 was hard as fuck EDIT: DL'd, ok mixtape, kept 4 songs. Highs clipping is basically evident in all tracks, meh. Bass clipping is the same, you should be able to get away with it as long as you are smart with the knob, its more on the kicks that it clips from what I see in WMP. Just don't play the song Different People with The Game, audible clipping of the bass. Piss em off does have clipping so watch out for that, Solemly Swear is 30hz @ 21db (or I guess -9db?) essentially the whole way thru, I don't see any clipping in WMP and even Audacity shows no red so its not going out of the range but I hear distortion in the vocals, maybe its just these cheap speakers at my work?
  14. Thank you sir, also I just named it Disturbed because that was the name of the instrumental haha
  15. Thank you appreciate the feed back. My homeboys are really startin to get a buzz out here (Da Alphabets in my sig) and I'm kinda just doin this for the fun as of now, def more tracks on the way and if you haven't click the YT in my sig and check out their music. CAB is the one who handles the Pro Tools engineering haha
  16. Thank you broski! Whats up with that Penetration? no homo
  17. Yeah chorus I just put together kinda fast, a good chorus is hard as hell to come up with lol. Right on though man. What do you mean by glitches?
  18. Yupp, I worked at Lowes for about a year and half, got fired for my own stupidity but it was a fun job even though retail sucks ass. I started off as a Loader, basically the store bitch lmao, I would have to go get Special Orders and grab fridges/dishwashers and other purchases into the customers cars, clean the bathrooms and get the shopping carts from the parking lot (which was the worst part). After maybe a year or so I was able to move up to the Lumber/Building Materials dept which was great, organzing concrete bags on pallets and sorting lumber was tough but better than getting carts and I got to drive the forklift quite a bit, in the rain was the best haha. Only thing that sucked was the pay, I think my final pay after 25 cent raises here and there I was at around $8, always had 38-40hrs a week though. This was back in 07-08. If all else fails get a job in security, I currently work for Securitas, pay is site/duty dependent (as in if you stay at one site or if you drive to different sites through-out your shift)
