Just tryna give you some advice about tuning more precisely if you are going to do it by ear, the 40hz @ -10db doesn't require any device. LOL and how many songs are -2db that are clean in the first place. Amps tuned by ear is now a last resort thing when you don't have a device to properly set the gain. Most music is less than -15 to -10db so guess what bro, you aren't getting the full potential out of your music since you are tuning by ear with music which like I said is dynamic. Like banginhoe said, 40hz @ -10db and you will be perfectly fine, a lot safer than tuning with music.

Stroupe mentioned it but not to an extent, check with your local credit unions about their interest rates on auto loans. The one in my county, San Mateo Credit Union, for a new car 61-72 month has to be at least $15k but the interest rate is 2.49% and used (2004+) is 2.79%, albeit you need good credit it is still low and I think CU's are generally lower (correct?). If you are going to tune by ear then you use a 45hz tone, music is dynamic which is why you shouldn't use it to set a gain.
