  1. 10-10s, 7-12s 4-15s, 3-18s Any amount of power, but limited to 5 batts and 2 alts Tell me about it. Roughly 13.5 inches from floor to widow line. isn't lightweight bassboxing now limited to 4 12's maximum cone area? cuz I know nic watts swapped his zcon 15's to zv3 12's to remain in lightweight and he actually got louder. Actually Nic would have moved to welterweight, as his blow thru counts as a wall. Lightweight and super lw was combined and cone area moved up to 840sq in, but still is a no wall class. And they restricted batt amount total to 5.
  2. Yes.. Kinda on the fence on power. I know batts will run a pair of 5.0s, but really thinking a pair of 7.5ks

  4. This is a no wall set up and staying in the cargo area. I have a walled truck so wanna do something different. So I doubt a bandpass will benefit, but who knows
  5. Well some may know by now I purchased one of Mike Singers wagons. The current plan is to build a daily driver groundpounder NW setup, and compete IASCA lightweight. I'm looking to see what everyone thinks. TO HELL WITH IT! just sat at work and compiled the whole list. Audio Technix 3 - rolls 1/0 white, +25ft 2 - rolls 1/0 blue, +25ft 25ft 4ga white 25ft 4ga blue 1 - roll 8ga speaker wire 1 - 250ft 16ga speaker wire 1 - 17ft RCA 1 - 17ft 4 channel RCA 40sq 80mil DC 6 - lvl 4 12d.7 w/upgrades 2 - 5.0s (possibly 7.5's) 1 - 175.4 Deck Alpine 9885 DD 2 - AW6.5 2 - AWT28 2 - VO 6.5 2 - T2 tweets Xs Power 1 - d3400 4 -d7500 Misc 1 - SMD VM1 1 - Singer 350a
  6. Ken, its gonna always be close. For example 2 - d7500s cost 1120.00 Equals 3 - d3100s cost 1110.00 Granted the 3100s cost less, it depends on what our trying to do. Another example. This year I will be competing in IASCA, where I'm limited to 5 batts total, where 1 must remain in stock location. So that being said I'm limited to 4 in the rear. What would be the max? It my case 4 7500s is the best choice as its the max output I could get.
  7. 1.5 x d3100=d7500. The best way to compare what's equal I with Xs power batteries. Add the combined weight of the combination in question. As the lead is what makes up the output. As long as its equal, it will offer same results.
  8. 560.00 is what I will be selling for Shipped or plus shipping? Message sent
  9. 560.00 is what I will be selling for
  10. I'll show the world a pair will cf cones and caps. But you all have to wait til sbn.....
  11. All being said, no choice is ideal, as they all will be under powered. If you insist on those choices the 8s or 10s would be the better options, however my suggest is a single Xl or a pair of lvl 3s on a 2k
  12. I'll be glad when I can see the view from my garage.....lol
  13. Any there you have it folks. You ask and the man answers! Yay, i can buy 1 or 2 more
  14. I would start by replacing the current battery under the hood with a d3400 and see what the voltage does and go from there. With your current 1500watts you shouldn't need anymore then then that
  15. i just sent 2grand. to preorder first 12. let me know if i have money left over or i owe more......lol
  16. That's very low ad needs charged
  17. You need a 3400 up front and an Xp 2500 or xp3000 in rear
  18. I think u got the ratio backwards. All the ones I have seen the rear cha pm er was smaller then the front
  19. Kyle first off, you funny calling me retarded, as I've forgotten more then you will ever know about car audio, and I mean that. Second I wanna say his name was brad, I believe but I really dont remember, he opened his shop back up in OK city shortly after leaving dd, after all there change stuff. Really I can care less what you think, when you do something that impresses me enough to value your option then I'll ask. But carry on with what ever you think you know. hey jeff , since you have had both 9k and 10k , both on a 12v system. what numbers did u clamp out of each ? Heck, I've never had the 9.0s, I had the American bass 1100.1 which is very similar to the 9.0, the most I remember seeing out of those was 12-13k rising above 3ohm strapped. The only clamp I have done on the 10.0s what 15k strapped rising to 2.8ohms dropping to 13.2. The 10.0s however seem to make more power and is alot easier on my electrical fully tilt. Full tilt bass boxing runs tho it still will drop to 11.8 with the engine tacked at 2k
  20. I'm by no means defensive, I know what they can do. However. Telling the general public that they can run it into the 9-10 is not wise. Rusty has used to 10.0s in Ana's Rex street a style off 1 battery and got a good amount of power. Lets put it this way. The hu shut off due to low voltage before the amps did. Secondly I'm not buying the fact that the ddm4a is a 5k amp. A few weeks ago yes, but after talking with a DD employee I was enforced that's the same amp as the aq3500.1. I know not everyone can fit alot of batts or is limited in ea class, but using a larger amp with less that ideal electrical, it forces a higher reactive load I sense, being less effecent making less power. Properly powering a smaller amp with lower rise in turn making rated power or better, in result having the same power with either step up. That's with any amplifiers, not just DC
