wire them down to 2 ohm? it would end up being 1 door per channel roughly, but you would want to set your components up for right and left. That would eliminate the need for your second amp. Does your mono amp have an rca out? if so just use that

Like the title says for sale today i have my dd1508 that i was planning to recone but never got around to it. The reason for needed a recone was a burnt up tinsel lead that destroyed the spiders. For an extra 5 bucks i will tear it down completely to make it recone ready. Currently the spider and foam left overs are still on the basket. The coil is taped up so there is no dirt or dust, also the direct 8ga connections are 100% Asking 65 shipped in current condition or 70$ shipped all stripped clean. Up for sale today are my crescendo super tweeters, these things are monsters with a 2 inch voice coil. I had them crossed at around 4.5k on my alpine 50.4 and these things sound amazing, loud and clear. These are rated at 110w rms and have an 8ohm vc. Both tweeters mechanically are 100% one tweeter has one small corner broken off leaving 3 screw holes. Looking to get 30$ shipped. Tweeters are SOLD

I agree with everything you say but the very last part. Its kind of dependent on his speakers and their efficiency isnt it? Myself for example i have my front doors (2 selenium 6s in each door) running at 4ohm and my doors (1 8 per door) running at 8 ohm each. The rear was a tiny bit louder than the front but not very noticeable.

inline noise filter on your power in to the headunit. They can be had on amazon for stupid cheap, ive tried rca noise filters but they have never helped my system

I have a level 4 motor i would like to order 1 10 inch basket and a 10inch re cone for the level 4 motor but i would like the level 5 upgrade as well as the wide roll surround and an extra spider. i like his system though, powerful but it seems simple

i use loctite self mixing 5 min epoxy for everything on my recones. Coat each landing and a coat on top of the spider perimeter and just press it down. The epoxy has a little more give than CA. I cant take full credit though matt matheson learned me that one =P
