well i know both will do 3 k these amps are underrated from what i understand . i got both of them and was wondering what kind of power they make . i just got 2 dc level 5 and am trying to get my set up going . my plan is to keep one sell the other and get a matching for a total of 2 same amps. when i was a kid my dad worked for a high end home audio store, and he always used to laugh about selling bose brand to people. in his opinion, bose used low quality drivers in well designed enclosures. i don't know if it's the truth, but it has always been something that has stuck with me. Your dad is correct! And for the normal yeppy "no offence to the bose owners" it fits what they need perfectly. Some people do buy them because there small and hide away, but its set in most peoples mind bose is top dollar stuff. Take two towers from B&W or seas (those are entry lvl companies around the same price range) with a denon amp/pre amp and it will merc bose. Like he said and Bang Olufsen as well. But only the entry lvl of Bose, B & W and SEAS are equal, in the higher and highest lvl´s is B & W and Seasspeakers top notch.

Idk if it work with this foam, in my familys orthopedic handcraftshop we use 2 component foams to build cosmetics for prothesis. And the clou is if you mix a shot of a and a shot of b and than spit in it and stir it 2 or 3 rounds it comes up much quicker than normal and the expanded foam gets a size 5-7 times bigger than without spitting.

Buy a used amp, for your budget in new is all supercrap. Had a look @ E-bay try to grab something like this or this. Much better than 100 $ wannabe amp.

If you realy want a other/new amp, in this budget. I would buy a used very nice sounding older mono in the range 500-1250 watts, only up is like this amp, little bit big for your sub but nice number on the sheet, another nice one. All the amps there are named in this thread before, are something out of the class not higher than!, amp 1,2,3,,etc. using same boards/comin from same chinese manufacture, typical around middle and higher lowlines. With a used hi- or high-end mono/2 channel, you would will have subbier fun with this sub. You can´t beat the shit out of 500 w/RMS sub in a daily set up like a groundpounder. But you can have amp who can use colours, temperatur and control of sound, and not these better cheap crap. But if you have your AQ, ask a repairservice, i read something arround 100 $, not sure with shippingcost and new waranty. Best offer you have, and if you are the AQ rid, another good option is the AQ 750 for 199, the AQ´s have much better resale- prices than all the other "new" amps.

The voltage was fine every time I looked. It didn't just stop playing mid-song. It was working fine one day. Wouldn't the next. Really odd. I opened it up and don't see anything burnt or out of the ordinary. The amp was about 2-3 years old though, don't really know what happened. It had been finicky all its life though, even before I got it. What would you recommend Lbox? Price range is ~$230 and what do you mean by Lbox? Maby you can get a better amp in used for this budget. But if you still have the AQ send it to dBr or another amprepair.
