  1. There is no way I can tell with out seeing your set up and doing some testing.
  2. For daily use you shouldn't have any problems. If you are competing, then with the lack of alternator power you will be pulling a lot from the battery bank.
  3. You will want to measure and make sure, but you can probably use the 3400 in the stock location.
  4. 3400 will fit in most cases when replacing a group 75 battery.
  5. D6500 would probably work for you, but you would want to double check the fitment to make sure it will work with your application.

D3400 up front and then what you run in the back is really up to the space you have to work with, use, and budget. 2 D3100 in the back would run you do you good, but you could get away with 2 D3400 in the back. Really depends on what your expectations are and how you are going to be using the system.
  7. The D2400 is bigger than the D3400 in physical size and weight. The Group 24 batteries have a bigger footprint than the Group 34 batteries.

  9. The iBar will not work on the D2700. There are a few guys on the forums that have made buss bars for the D2700 though. May want to talk with toolmaker.

  13. This really makes no difference to me, but I hate seeing people throw away hard earned money on paperweights! I have seen a bunch of used battery postings on the forums over the past couple weeks and they really make no sense. Just in the past two weeks I have seen postings of people selling used batteries and when they show the voltage of the batteries they are in the 10V, 11V, and low 12V range.................. and no one asks a single question of why they are so low??? This should be the first warning sign to stay away. Educate yourself on your purchase before you waste your money!!!!! Any time you store a sealed AGM battery below 12.6V you can cause damage to the battery. When the battery is stored below 12.6V you can get sulfation that builds up on the led plates in the battery, which in turn takes surface area away from the battery's ability to produce power. This sulfation can also cause the battery to short out internally. Another thing is that just because the battery shows 12.6V or higher doesn't prove the battery is in great shape. Heck the seller may not even know the battery is damaged, because the battery is not currently being used. A bad battery can look great as far as voltage goes when you charge it up, but as soon as you put a load on the battery it can fall on its face. Then you just payed how ever much on a used battery that can be used for a paperweight or you may be able to get $3-$6 out of recycling it. Buying used batteries is a risk! I dont care if it is an XS Power battery or any other battery it is a risk. Can you find used batteries that are still in great shape? Yes of course you can, but if you see pictures of the voltage and it is crazy low.............. then my advice would be to stay clear or don't be upset when you get the battery and it is worthless. Saving that $30 on that used battery you just bought really just cost you a lot more than buying a new one. Again its your money and you can do whatever with it, but it amazes me to see people buying useless batteries and wasting their money. You invested in your audio system with the Subs, Amps, and enclosure, so it really makes no sense to go the cheap route on the electrical and not get the return on your investment. Your amp and subs are useless if you dont have the proper power to give them.
  14. If your Accord is a 2.2L then the D2400 would be the direct replacement and will work for that size system.

  16. 14V needs to be charged in the 16.5-16.8 range and will rest around 15.2. 1500watts per battery for competition use and 3000watts of power per battery for daily use. 2.4V per cell is the optimal charge rate. 14V battery has 7 cells in it, so that puts you at 16.8V

  18. I will say in the tests we have done most of the Battery Tender Plus and CTek chargers did pretty good. The thing you have to watch for though is getting a charger that has a very low amperage recharge and hooking it up to more than one battery or the very large batteries (D6500 to D3100). A lot of those chargers charge at .5amp or 1amp charges, and they will never fully charge a bank of batteries or the big batteries. They will maintain them and may have the voltage up to a fully charged rate, but it will not be a deep charge on the cells. When this happens it doesn't hurt the batteries, but they will not be able to give top performance until they are topped off with a good charge. The XSP1012 maintainers are still in production and it will probably be mid to late summer time frame before they are available.
  19. One thing you will find is that a lot of people that are in a business that should know about multiple battery installations don't always know as much as they like to make you think. Not saying that isolators should never be used, but in MOST car audio applications they are not needed at all.

  21. Big 3 and a D3400 under the hood will get you going. If you are running side terminals then you will need the iBar kit 551 or 555.
  22. For some reason the 2010 is not listed, but the 09 3.5l used a Group 24F. The D2400 will be the same physical size, but the posts are reversed, which is no big deal if you are going to upgrade your wiring. Even if you do not upgrade your wiring all you have to do is extend the cables, which is very easy. Just check and see if it has a Group 24F in the 2010 and if so the D2400 will do the job for you.
  23. The D3400 is $259.99 plus shipping. Shipping will be around $25 each battery. Oh and yes the D3400 will give you a ton more performance than the optima group 34.
  24. That is a Group 94R battery. Should be close to 12.43L 6.93W 7.5H. So, it really depends on how much room you have around the battery to work with. The D3100 is 12.99L 6.81W 8.43H.
