  1. I love the components on the cover board, looks awesome, I bet i sounds awesome to, pointed straight at your ears
  2. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/143322-3x-10-rd-sonances-d2/ he's selling 3 1000rms subs for 125 shipped a piece, can't beat that, though, I am hoping to pick two up from him.
  3. On the website it says your making lvl 3 18s dual 2, i would like a quote to 27341 also a 175.4 and a 1.2k if you don't make 18s then the price for a 15 dual 2 would be fine. I sent an email to your sales, figured i would try here also.
  4. i live around asheboro, about 15 minutes from the zoo actually, i can meet you guys somewhere in between if you would like
  5. you could try running 1 4 ohm dvc with 1 coil bridged to channel 1 and 2 and the other coil bridged to 3 and 4. I wouldn't recommend it though.
  6. and you don't want to wire 1 coil to a channel on an amp, just wire them together ti get a final load of 4 ohms going to the amp
  7. a dual 2 will give you a 4 ohm or 1 ohm. And that alpine is still better than those last two subs, audiobahn is horrible for sq.
  8. that powerbass the best of those, but what ohm load do you need, bc the cerwin vega is only 1 voice coil and so is the kole, those other 2 are dvc, so you'll wire them differently. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_18330_Alpine_SWS-1043D.aspx that is an alpine 10 inch dual 4, i just put 1 in my wifes truck and it pretty loud and clean. they have dual 2 also. it is a much better sub than those you posted, and in the same price range.
  9. i had an ap1500d, it blew up after a month running at 2 ohms, or well, closer to 3 after rise. I had a big 3 upgrade and and extra dry cell stinger battery in the back, so voltage wasn't a problem. For only 150 bucks with a free fuse holder and fuse even after blowing up on me I may consider another one. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Some ppl have had very good luck though.
  10. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/13280-how-to-do-the-big-3-tutorial/ this should help you.
  11. very nice video, i would love to see more.
  12. Finished it up tonight, I just need to paint my box sometime soon. The dang ole radio felt right at home in the truck, needless to say, it didn't want to come out. Got everything hooked up and i must say, that lil 10 inch alpine sounds pretty good, i've done no tunning and my smdd1 battery was dead so the gains are just at 1/2 for now. Some pics of the trunk, just an extended cab 2001 f-150 v6
  13. I'm putting together a little system for the wife. Will begin installation on Saturday, got some pics for you tonight though. A lil package i got from audiosavings. and they shipped it to me in 2 days. I got the jasper jig from amazon though. All together I have a kenwood excelon kdc-395, mbquart fkb157 5x7s, cadence fda0+4 amp kit, and some quanum audio qs2tw 1" tweets that i'm not sure i'll use yet. Tomorrow i have my alpine sws-1023d, and my mbquart fsb216 6.5" components. I have a kenwood excelon kdc-x201T for the 10 inch alpine and a alpine mrv-t300something for the mbquart separates up front. I also finally get to use my smd dd1
  14. if your serious about car audio you should take 300 dollars or so of the budget and buy some basic tools skill saw= http://www.lowes.com/pd_324664-79992-PC15TCSMK_4294857530_4294937087_?productId=3191455&Ns=p_product_price|1&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl_Circular%2BSaws_4294857530_4294937087_%3Fpage%3D2%26Ns%3Dp_product_price%7C1&facetInfo= router= http://www.lowes.com/pd_77344-70-9690LR_4294857535_4294937087_?productId=1209535&Ns=p_product_price|0&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl_Corded%2BRouters_4294857535_4294937087_%3FNs%3Dp_product_price%7C0&facetInfo= t-square= tape measure= http://www.lowes.com/pd_94776-355-33-716_0__?productId=1114267&Ntt=tape+measure&Ns=p_product_price|1&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Dtape%2Bmeasure%26Ns%3Dp_product_price%7C1&facetInfo= lots of wood glue=http://www.lowes.com/pd_86090-970-5006_0__?productId=3044581&Ntt=wood+glue&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Dwood%2Bglue&facetInfo= nice drill= http://www.lowes.com/pd_76712-79992-PC180DK-2_4294857547_4294937087_?productId=1209527&Ns=p_product_price|1&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl_Cordless%2BDrills_4294857547_4294937087_%3Fpage%3D2%26Ns%3Dp_product_price%7C1&facetInfo= lots of screws= http://www.lowes.com/pd_18284-1278-PTN212S5_4294859052+4294859808_40_?productId=3174939&Ns=p_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr|0||p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl_Wood%2Bto%2BWood_4294859052%2B4294859808_40_%3FNs%3Dp_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr%7C0%7C%7Cp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1&facetInfo=Wood%20to%20Wood should be a lil over 400 bucks after tax and the tsquare
