  1. air fresheners lol BAMF install in a BAMF car
  2. Without pics this thread raises the question:
  3. You can get half sheets. And also I think if whatever pieces got used were completely covered in resin all the way around you should be alright because resin should seal it up completely. But to be safe I would get new. And if you are doing glasses panels any wood would work be it cheap ass ply or w/o.
  4. That looked like black mold too which is no shit to fuck with. Imho is scrub down every place that wood has been with 2:1 bleach water.
  5. I think a fast suv would make more of a statement than a fast car.and I would want to see the build lol.
  6. Mold growing in your vehicle? Getting sick from the mild being in your vehicles remember mold is actually microscopic so its probably completely penetrated your wood. Is scrap it unless you are going to glass both sides completely.
  7. Just drive lol that's how I got used to it.
  8. yep, that helps, thanks! so if they were actually in showrooms spring 09, that would make the build dates closer to the 3 year mark we are looking for Going back to the G8 - that is actually a bit older than needed, anything older than 5 years is also much more expensive to import. Plus the look isn't the same He is referring to the GTO which iirc was a separate model for a few years recently just like it was back in the 70's My vote would be for a shelby but a tuned out ss would be nice too. If you guys get either just make it look unique so everyone is like o whats that?
  9. Not necessarily. That stronger motor could be pushing a heavier cone, or it could (and probably does) have a stiffer suspension (spider(s)). Probably shouldn't need to worry about it too much imo. If you want to try something new get the obsidians and give us a review, or get a stand by like some lvl 3's, or sa. You can't really go wrong with any of them.
  10. I run aq subs and amps and I love them good bass for a great price and trust me thier not cheap I know people who run 9k on 4 hdc3s So far looking like aq is winning. But I have to ask. Their motor weighs 140oz while my t3 ones weigh 200. What's the difference in that in the sub world? And also their website says 500-600. Why would they have a 100rms range? Do they not know what they will run? IIRC the motor weight would affect the motor strength which would get into like the spiders and what not and the whole design. The range in rms is because there are a ton of factors that play into how much your subs can handle, box size, clean power, how hard and often you play them, etc.
  11. No they do not do rated, the easiest way to find out is take the fusing in the amp * 12 volts * ~.75 (for 75% efficiency).
  12. Holy hell how much does the 12k weigh? I think dc should start sponsoring a few back braces for various delivery companies lol. That stuff is very sexy tho.
  13. To dustin: The bigger volume of area around the box would lower resonant freq. To Loud Burp: Good shit To OP Read what Loud Burp Said lol.
  14. That's a sick logo I think it would be cool. Maybe have your artist add a little something to it if you want.
  15. Congrats. For ported boxes you want 12-16 sq inches of port area per cubic foot of interior volume.
  16. Due that thing justice and put it a ported box. That thing Is sexy. but as far as the interior of a sealed box I doubt smoothing it would do anything. But polyfill would be interesting or maybe second skin?????
  17. Damn that is 30k more than my county lol.
  18. So how is the phone for ya? would love to here a legit review before purchasing on friday
  19. clipping? there is an otterbox case for it i think 30 on ebay iirc. I am getting one friday and i have been looking at cases on ebay.
  20. Just looked up some more details, it also includes 97-99 f250 and similar year lincoln blackwoods?? But the recall is to start sept 12 on them.
  21. Ok cool man thanks ill look for some, i figured mothers would be the best anyway.
  22. any particular polishes you recommend? or types of cloth?
  23. no need for stripper lol the acid (aluminum bright) took care of that lol no curb rash since my tires are fat, and ok so i can get some polished wheels for like 30 bucks lol. thanks for the advice tho. any tips on something to put on them when im done? some clear maybe?
  24. Backstory: K so my front wheels got a significant amount of brake dust built up because my step dad had the mechanic put the cheapest pads on when he machined my rotors to get rid of my brake shudder. Well today I come out and my stepdad had used aluminum brightener on the wheels to cut through the brake dust (brake cleaner didnt work for some reason?) which should have been fine...Nope the wheels had some kind of coating on them and it is trashed now. Actual question: So I want to just buff them down and give them a polished look instead of machined like they look stock. Looking for tips on working aluminum to a polish finish bascially.
