im having the same issue with a 2002 impala, shuts off randomly, wont start some times, and gauges flip out on me, first though t was the ground , after checking and replaceing grounds , i still have the issue, got a new battery, same issue, new alt still no luck, was told it was my bcm computer, changed and programmed by dealer still no luck, now im going to do the pcm, then the passlock system. ill see what happens then, did alot of research seems that a huge amount of gm cars, chevy gm pontiac, and some other models all suffer from this , and the cure seems to be random. good luck with fixing it, ill be watching for a cure.

i see what your saying the diagram is a bit misleading,yes you will need to use both +,-, wether or not you chose to use both channels is totaly up to you, depending on wether you wire it up to 2ohms at the sub or on the amp.im useing the 3500, so i have had the same thoughts at first. heres a pic dual 2ohm coils, each coil ran to amp, one on the left side one on the right, 1 sub,wired to 1 ohm http://i40.tinypic.com/mr322q.jpg

its a mono block amp,1channel, it has 2 speaker inputs ,but you dont have to use both + or - its just there to help with wiring. for raising or lowering impedence.it dosent matter wich side you chose to use.

its giving you a diagram for dual and single voice coils, two + would be for dual , and one + would be for single, note its note showing you how to lower or raise impedence.

that drawing seems correct to me, only possible diffrence would be using some bus bars to connect the batteries, but what you got there is legit.

i through this together real quick, basic tools, knife, spray glue,carpet tractor, after the carpet is attached to one side and your ready to wrap the edges, split your carpet in the center, fold them over and make a clean cut through both at the same time, fold them back spray with glue and put them together, take your tractor and roll over carpet seam until its not visible anymore. repeat until done, how many cuts will depend on carpet thickness and radious. hope this helps

its better to have it while your putting together, it will make the whole job look that much better.

ive done this a few times and generaly you start in the center of the corner and work your way out to the strait edges, when wrapping your carpet youll need to make slits and overlap them and double cut, meaning cut through both at the same time, you might get away with 3 to 5 cuts, on that corner , oh also theres a tool called a carpet tractor, it has a bunch of small teeth on a roller, you roll it across your seams, it helps to blend them together.

in the center of the box, top to bottom, and side to side, if your box is big enough, you might want to add 2 braces in each direction, in that case they would need to be spread out evenly, and i would use the all thread , its thinner than the 1 inch dowle and is just as much sturdy if not more.

can you come up with any reasons not to get the warranty. id spend the extra doug h and get the warranty, where are you buying this amp from?

i havent had any bad experience or purchased a memphis,but i have purchased a refurb saz 3500 sundown from dbr. that was 2 years ago, i havent had one problem with amp, came packeaged very well and other than a few minor scratches, i couldnt tell the differnce from a new amp or old amp, took me two weeks to get my amp but was well worth the wait. i would buy from dbr again!

what brand/type of wire are you using, another run would help ,more batteries would help too, but your gonna have drop until you meet your power demand, which means you'll need another alt. any time your pulling more amps then your making your gonna have drop, no matter how much wire or batteries you have.

the answer is no. 4800 watts = 480amps, you have 270 amps, your always going to have voltage drop unless you have more supply than demand, also most 0/ gauge will handle 270 to 350 amps depending on strand count .and most will say 1000 watts =100 amps . hope this helps

im sure some one will correct me if im wrong , but to keep up with 6300 watts your gonna have to keep up the power , 270 amps proly would cover close to half but not all, even with more battery bank, it will only last as long as the charge, theres just not enough to keep the batteries charged and supply enough amperage to handle 6300, another alt and a few more batteries should do the trick.

isnt the same anymore these days, , money has become more important than the game, when is it enough money? what ever happened to playing /owning a team becuase you love the sport, not because of the money. both ends make more than enough money.

circuit breakers can fail, i would recommend not using them, plenty of other people here will agree.

im very tempted to try this, i have 2 riders a craftsman and a john deer, where were you able to find the pully and belt? if you dont mind me asking.

i like the idea of having multiple tools, if it was a all in one item it wouldnt be as affordable,not that it isnt worth it, its easier to come up with 150 to 200 bucks than 500, not to mention if something was to break and wasnt under warranty you wouldnt have to come out your pocket another huge chunk, awesome stuff !! keep up the good work fellas!

yes, and your options will probably be limited to 2 places, a junk yard and a dealership, most if not all part stores will tell you the same.

Its aslo the weekend and very possible that their busy doing other things.
