  1. haha.. beat me to it!
  2. let me get this straight... you are looking for ideas on how you are going about to build a box? The shape is quite bad, but is very workable.... on the side note... your kenwood's are BLOWN.. what subs are we working with here?
  3. ^^I hear you. but i rather put more powerful amp on it and adjust the gain to produce cleaner sound. just my $0.02
  4. sounds to me like you have your mind set on rf. i haven't experience the prime series but yeah they are a little cheaper in price.
  5. ain't nothing wrong with competing for fun =)
  6. ^^ love those rf... but $$$. I would look into a good brand 1000wtt for the pair. AQ1200 is $250 shipped. Refurb Sundown SAE1200 for around $250. Audiopipe AP1500 around $180
  7. after second look... FAILED!!...lol
  8. Well said Ed. That's some deep shit. Now that's the spirit! It is what drives me as well. I've been doing it as a high school kid. Even when my parents hated and yell at me for my bass headed, shaking the house. I do all the builds and installs for most for most my friends. A smile on their face is all it takes to move to the next web of builds.
  9. quarter panels have shard edge bottom. if you can't get to it, guess sprayin foam in there will solve the rattle. But only if that's the cause. try turning your car and the stereo off, trouble shoot by gently hitting the side to see if there's any rattling.
  10. x2... can't beat that!
  11. although it doesn't hurt to spray foam in there. honestly i wouldn't just yet... take the time and look first.
  12. could be something in the rare quarter panel.... i have a sound like that in my as we speak, but haven't had the time to look into it....
  13. X3... but looking good so far... hurry up and post vid
  14. beasty lilo guy... and yeah she hot! plans for the lilo guy?
  15. I would have to agree that it depends on the size available and type of vehicle. In a hatchback, one good 15 or two good 10's can be good enough. Other factors such as preference for SQL also needs to be taken into consideration. I thinking about building a T-Line for my T3 10" and call it a day.
  16. Glad we can help!
  17. "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" got my vote....
  18. If you can wait, Sundown is doing preoder for 120 a piece. ETA is Estimate late Feb/early March. Haven't heard of the DD1508 in person, but heard good things about it. Sundown SA8 is a new product, vid post by Jacob are very impressive. There are other good 8's out there (like Soundsplinter RL-i 8 and JL W7 -, but with performance and price, you cant really beat Sundown... just my opinion.
  19. Dam bro... you seem to have lots of time. I would get a jig saw...lol
  20. that thing moves! Love the looks too!... what max wattage for burp on these babies?
