  1. on the site it has a lot of the base information such as mounting depth, outer and inner sub dimensions, it does not talk about the magnet, but should give you the other information you want
  2. basically, i tried to explain same thing to my neighbor, he said " I want to get 18s, but they cant hit the lows." So i tried to explain this same principle and he still doesnt understand, but yea box and tuning, i believe the box being tuned, it will have a range of frequencies which it can hit give or take some, im not sure how wide this range goes, but like the guy said above, 38 hz tuning wont get the lows as good as 32 hz tuning
  3. respect, even if it wasnt you, the possibility that it could have been and that you took care of it, nice job
  4. all i know is iv e played my subs in sub zero temp and they worked fine, not sure whether its okay for the subs or not, but ive played them while they and the amp were frosted over, didnt seem to affect performance, but could affect lifespan of sub, not sure
  5. lol, they came in at grissom AFB here, its like 20 minutes away i think..apparently they flew Air Force One and Two
  6. Today Obama came to kokomo, Indiana. All i saw was tons of road blocks, lol. He came to chrysler plant and had some lunch form a local restaurant, signed some autographs. I had no chance to get near anywhere he was at, lol seemed every road I went down was blocked off by police, still interesting to have the president in the city, most people see kokomo as the end of the road, its on its last leg an d its dying, but we hope the future will be bright, chrysler is still huge here and is investing nearly 1 billion to keep another transmission plant open keeping 2250 jobs
  7. i have a 99 olds alero, its trunk is about 14.1 cu ft, not really a lot to work with, would be better if it was literally a cube to work with but with the wheel wells and such it makes it more difficult to utilize the whole space unless it was walled or nicely fiberglassed in i would think largest box that could fit in my trunk is 16.5X36X36 and that would have to be built within the trunk because of clearance sliding box in, to be able to remove box for my trunk, it would need to be only 14 or so inches tall, the box im making for it will be 14.5 inches tall for a single 12
  8. well sent you an email with a variety of tools and instructions, hopefully this works for you, these are about half the tools i use when people have virus issues, so should work out
  9. you should get spybot if you dont have it, and glary utilities both of these are good free programs, of course these alone wont do everything, but its a start, if you hae va good security program this would never happen, so what programs do you have on your computer, if you cant afford there are plenty of free ones that are very good, and of course you can always download i used to use zone alarm extreme security which is very good and has a built in toolbar for your browser that virtualizes everything to makes sure it wont affect your computer, i may still have my license for it, but dont know also, do you use noscript, adblock, flashblock with firefox, they are all good i have an on demand security program i could probably email you, it needs no install, i keep it on a portable harddrive in case a friend needs help, pm me if you want to try it it sounds like a basic redirecter virus, but cant be completely sure
  10. well it looks like someone found google sketch up and made a site of ridiculous proportions
  11. i think inverting changes some things cant remember, forevrbumpn once said i believe, that the square subs would not work properly in a t-line, but i could be wrong
  12. id go chicken noodle soup and some vitamin C, OJ or something else high in Vitamin C, but it has to be the chicken noodle soup with mostly broth, the chunky soup or whatever that has more stuff in it has less broth so it wont help as much and if you have congestion along with the cold, get some vapor rub or something to clear your sinuses or sit in a hot shower and let the steam clear your sinuses, not as effective but helps
  13. i am wanting N2 but must wait for the money, but im definitely curious to see the N3s once posted on site, it says they are available in 2 weeks, and then comes the NSGs, which are gonna be beast
  14. i have a friend that did something noobish along the lines of this, he had a 4 channel amp for two subs and thought each channel got the entire 1600watts the amplifier claimed and since he had 4 channels on two subwoofers, he figured he was getting 3200 watts per sub and he was putting this to two 12 inch svc mtx 6600s
  15. dang, this is nice, if i didnt already buy a sub today i would have tried to go for this
  16. nope, not bad, quick sell and quick mail, sounds alright to me
  17. looks good bud, i just sent you pm confirming paypal o you know if the specs for this sub is the same as the ones on the fi website? im not sure if they have changed since last year
  18. great, any chance you could get a pic showing the ohm rating on the coils?
  19. no worries bud, ive had many posts turn out like that i know im currently saving up for a btl-n2, but it will be my first major build so dont take my word for it go to the board index and look for the fi car audio thread and check out the btl-n2 thread, it should have some information on them that may help
  20. the last half of the sentence is WTF??? anyways, as far as i see, i think the btl-n2 should work just as the old btl did except it will be a lot lighter, the t/s are fairly close to original btl t/s and i have heard mostly good things about original btl so i assume the n2s will be just as good
  21. if have some old school infinity 6x9s in my car and they were nice, they produce almost no bass, but i dont currently have subs so im not listening to much bass songs anyways, but they get loud and sound nice
  22. hmmmm, this could be true, so shall wait and see
