Anything can power a btl n2, even a little 100 watt amp, the real question is, how hard can the amp push the sub, close to the limits? No. Correct me if im wrong.
Sounds like a clogged cat, try taking it off and cleaning the honey comes out of it or replace it. Its not able to get rid of the back pressure, that always makes cars act funny.
i was gonna say compression test, then check see if all cylinders are firing. I had a friend who was running on 3 cylinders on a 5.0 foxbody. He found out after he sold it lol.
My brothers clip light is on almost all the time on his aq2200d, its set with the dd-1 if this helps. You might hear a hum from the amp when its clipping.
My jeep always drop to the 12v on the dash meter but measure out from the battery it reads 14v but after awhile it jumps to 14v and sits back down to 13.5v
