  1. The way I see it is that the car is probably packed with Li batteries and I have heard that they can't cope with a real system with todays technology. So I would assume no. Also, that much extra weight on an electric engine would shorten the range considerably and then having to recharge the batteries..... Basically no.
  2. Just go get one of those wire size guides and find out for yourself. As for how many strands it is, it may be low compared to some of the other car audio companies like Knu, but that should be flexible enough for most of what we do.
  3. I don't know about you lol, but I know I could find a way to use that haha. "Hmm, where did the paper go? Let me look inside my sub enclosure or under my seats without braking my neck." Edit: Hey Treo, is the screen backlit? If not I see a mod you need lol.
  4. I like this idea Steve. I may come by so I can see the SMDs in action.
  5. I'm just curious Steve, do you plan on sending the Irragi's in for testing?
  6. Well, Thor had some pretty DC Neo 10's. I liked those.
  7. Five Finger Death Punch has great staging. I would look into them as well.
  8. Hey, do you know how to get ahold of the owner of atmos audio?

  9. I don't have any second skin, but I would cover about 25% (more than 25% and it stops working as a vibration dampener and becomes the same as adding mass which it performed better by LLP) of your sheet metal in the car with damp pro and then a layer of luxury liner pro through out the entire ride. The damp pro prevents the metal from vibrating and the llp blocks out external noises like road noise. As far as her ride, I would find a nice 8-10" and put it in a sealed box either glassed under a seat, or into the side panel, upgrade the stock speakers to a nice set of components and be done with it unless she wants a better HU which isn't a bad idea. For his ride, I would step it up to a 12", again sealed, with some higher end components, amp for mids/highs and something like this so that his stock HU can bu utilized.
  10. I have to say, Matt knows his business very well. I met him at a show in Macon, GA where he gave an alt to the show to be raffled off. I talked to him right before he left about an alt for my car, a 2002 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L. This is a car that it seems no one makes aftermarket gear for. However, he knew exactly where it was located in my car and what he would have to do to make one for me, and even explained it. I have decided without a doubt that whenever I can afford an alt, he will be getting my business. Edit: For those of you that say no one makes an alt for your car, give him a call. My car isn't on his site, yet he has told me specifically that he can and will make an alt for me that will fit the stock bracket.
  11. DC doesn't allow their prices to be posted openly on the forums.
  12. I use a pair of Klipsch earbuds. They sound extremely clean and have great passive sound dampening. These are the exact pair I use, I chose them for the connectivity with my iPod. They cost about $100 so they aren't the cheapest, but I feel they were worth the cost.
  13. Like the others have said, go into iTunes and take the songs you want as a CD and put them into a playlist. Once they are in a playlist you can burn it to a CD. When I was using my stock HU for the '02 Intrepid it would play the m4a burned CDs no problem. In the future, you can go to Edit > Preferences > General (it's the tab) > Import Settings... > then you can change it to mp3 for future imports.
  14. You can try, but most shops have a sign posted saying to not leave valuables in the car and that they are not responsible. Have you talked with the owner to see what his stance is on this?
  15. I don't know legally, but if you want to get into his life, how old is he, and is he into car audio, or do you not know that. I will say though, if you try and get in his life, you should stay there. I know personally, it sucks when your biological dad starts to be around and then he dips on you. I know alot of lawyers will consult over the phone for free to see if the case is doable, so you may want to call around and tell them the situation.
  16. Personally I'm going to mount my bass knob inside the center console. Keeps it stealth, I will need 1 hole in mine for the wire to come into it. However, I'm sure you can find a way around that.
  17. That was an awesome movie. Theft, Assault and Violence committed against people for no reason. Luckily the cops were cool.
  18. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79035-dd-1508s-fs/ This is the the car audio for sale section.
  19. Any updates on the build, or any more pics/specs for us on those components?

  20. If you order from the crescendo site, they may ship to you, obviously shipping won't be the cheapest. If they would ship to you, you would be the only/one of the very few to have one there, which to me would make it worth getting.
  21. What's the big deal? If he wants to know the info on the magnet what's wrong with that?
  22. *sigh* I was seriously hoping for a picture of someone stuck in a port, o well.
  23. Those codes look like it was your system that caused it. Most mentioned low voltage and stuff. It looks like your system dropped the voltage for extended periods of time which made a higher load across your computer. I'd fix it before installing the new one.
