  1. Anybody dumb enough to jump the fence I don't have my pit anymore, but when I did, I always fed her Iams. Almost every other one I'd give her would make her sick. Never figured out why, but Iams was ok
  2. Bolt from inside, nut on other side. Then wire, and another nut. So inside -> outside is bolt-wire-nut-box-nut-wire-nut Direct wire IS more efficient though. Edit- Goddamn double ninja'd... Edit 2-I'm an idiot. Dont forget to hook up the wire inside the box lol. *fixed*
  3. Review ^^Agree with all that, but mine kept going into protect any time I dropped under 13.0v. I'd still gladly buy another for 5-600 if I needed one.
  4. I've noticed you have great taste in music. K, Hopsin, Eligh... I'm not stalking you or anything, but it seems like every thread in this section I'm interested in, you made. Lol
  5. Bigger or smaller? Either way, it's impressive. More impressive if it's smaller haha
  6. Are people really this hard-headed? It's easy. Clean signal--->distortion--->clipping. Clean is good. That's what you want. This will pick up DISTORTION. Some people don't care if their sound gets distorted. That's fine, your car, do what you want. Distortion=/=Clipping. A scope will ONLY show you when you're clipping. Distortion will occur BEFORE clipping will. If you don't have a scope right now, then this DD-1 is (seems like, no personal experience lol) a fantastic way to save a few $$ and tune your system right. If you already have a scope, then chances are you're one of us guys who likes new toys, so there's no reason you shouldn't add this to your collection too. Personally, I have a tpi440 that I use for MUCH more than scoping amps. I use it on a daily basis, using almost every feature it has. So the DD-1 won't replace it. However, I'll probably pick one up when I can fit it in the budget. Just my $.02
  7. Hop is a cool ass dude too. A few of my friends run an entertainment business around here, setting up shows, promo, etc. Him and SwizZz did a show down here last month, we had a BBQ the day before and they came out, and they just kinda hung out for a while after the show. Signing autographs, joking around, just bullshitting. He even called me the next day and thanked me for coming out and said we might not hear from him for a while since we got him hooked on Xbox Live lol. One of the few artists I've met that actually gives a fuck about their fans. And he is one of the few new artists who actually has talent.
  8. Kools. $47/carton (single packs are like $7. FUCK THAT) and every once in a while, for old time's sake, I'll pick up some reds.
  9. Made a huge difference for me. Went from about 250/sec to over 800...I'd say its worth 10 bucks to me but I probably use it more than you will
  10. 3 common walls is the easiest to build, takes up the least internal space, and will lower the tuning a little more.
  11. What about sub up/port back? I dunno what car, what you want, etc. so it may not work for you, just an idea. If everything won't fit on one side, use two sides lol. Edit-bigger box with less power--more airspace means less cone control, so less power counteracts that. small boxes have better cone control, letting you overpower it and still be (somewhat) safe.
  12. I was actually looking at getting rid of my Mustang and my Dakota to get a Fusion AWD. Honestly, I haven't heard anything bad about either, and haven't seen too many of them come through the shop I work at. I prefer the Fusion's interior over the Malibu's though. And I'm a Ford guy Either one would be a good choice.
  13. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Permatex-Rear-view-mirror-adhesive/_/N-25up?counter=0&filterByKeyWord=rear+view+mirror+adhesive&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=526780_0_0_ Use that. If you follow directions and let it cure, it will actually be stronger than the glass. Meaning if your mirror falls off, it's gonna bring a chunk of the windshield down with it I use it all the time at work, hasn't failed once out of about 500 different cars. O'Reillys has it too, just make sure it is Permatex brand. Not the knockoff shit they sell.
  14. See if he'll trade for a week or so, that way you can make sure it doesn't need a lot of work. But I'd do the trade myself. Always good to have a new toy lol
  15. Or you could just tune to 34 lol. Is he the kind of guy that would know the difference?
  16. funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60OKdo_Zsr4&p=65A727D4FEE3A42D&playnext=1&index=13 lyrically superior than 90% of rappers now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdk8ChQqilQ a little darker... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS1TxGHHmKo&feature=related video is creepy, but tells a story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSrVKVGu-vw
  17. Some newer shit that doesn't suck ass! lol My two favorite albums from the last 2 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OTQkslMhz4&feature=related
  18. But he is trying to get 2k from it, not 3k. Unless I'm reading the post wrong...long day so its very possible lol
  19. With 2 d4s you can get a 4 ohm load. Two 1000 watt subs would be fine (amp does 2k at 4) just curious, but why don't you want to run bridged? Edit-I'm almost positive running it as a 2 channel would still be mono. Most sub outputs I've used are mono, so there shouldn't be anything making it stereo.
  20. Does it have the infinity system? Maybe the factory speakers were 8 ohm and the new ones are 4? It would give a funky ohm load and could cause the factory amp to shut off. I know I've had similar trouble with the infinity stuff before, had to just run new speaker wires, but I put in a new deck at the same time.
  21. Damn man! I was SOOO fucking happy when I did my first hair trick lol I couldn't imagine doing a "ground trick" from 10 feet away. I'm officially jealous haha.
