  1. Cool. Why don't you look at Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds prices.
  2. I did for the 15s, Loud as hell! But I sold the T40001bd, got 2 new toys Hmm..T2500-bdCp? Maybe some Sundownz?
  3. Are you using the T40001bd for the pair?
  4. T1s and T2s. I think they're overpriced though.
  5. I can tell you right now that only the T-series will please you if you grew up around loud cars. Look into DC, Fi, Ascendant Audio, Sundown Audio, Audioque, T3 Audio, Obsidian Audio, and a few others.
  6. I'm 15 too Yeah that can work successfully if the enclosure is designed and built correctly. Ask some questions..
  7. Fixed. They will take that if you know what you're doing.
  8. I don't know about that one. I'm sure you've seen worse last year, I know I have! Haha.."should I get 2 18" BTLs and use them as mids to keep up with the other pair as lows." I'll never forget that
  9. I'd prefer an XL because of power handling and SQ. A lvl 5 would be my LAST resort because ive read that it sounds bad on music. How much power are you running. That's a huge factor.
  10. Meh, that nothing..haha DO IT! lol. Im sure many of us would be up for that test Ill be looking out for this =]
  11. I'd do it there to limit any possibility of unloading (not that there is a ton in the other places). Also, it has been shown to be effective.
  12. I'd have it on the side where the port opening is. I'd put it near the "3/4 square," if you know what I mean.
  13. Im trying to picture what you mean. If I understand your question correctly, heres my answer- I wouldnt have it by the port at all because of unloading problems.
  14. He responded to all my PMs really fast. He shipped out the amp really fast. When I amp arrived, I was extremely surprised by how well it was packaged. He used foam and packing peanuts. The amp looked just how it was described-mint. The mounting feet weren't even scratched. Is definitely feel comfortable purchasing from him again and recommend him to all potential buyers. I can't think of one bad thing to say about him.
  15. Most smaller amps won't be stable.
  16. I only saw someone "laugh" twice in this thread. One time it wasn't at you. The second time, it was me. I wasn't laughing at you. I'm just a happy guy and laugh and add smileys in my posts I guess. Sorry if I offended you. We (or me atleast) weren't calling you a noob when you wanted to overpower a sub. Many people don't know the signs to look for. There's bottoming out, clipping, over excursion, etc. The average person doesn't know how to look for the signs. No one was trying to "intimidate" you. Come on..were online on a forum. You're probably relaxed at home on your couch. How would we intimidate you? You never said that you wanted 2 XLs on the single 3.5kwrms amp. You said level 4. Theres a HUGE difference between the subs. We weren't talking down to you. We were educating you. We aren't clownimg you either. I don't even know how you came to that conclusion. Im sorry about your disabilities. I wish you had happy holidays and a Happy New Year. Good night
  17. I find it ironic that you took all the time to design a free box calculator that you don't have a use for lol. Thanks for the calc though..its real nice to have
  18. Those LEDs make this look soo clean

    2 18 btls

If you get D2s, it'll allow you to strap the amps on your subs. Yes, your box would allow for bigger amps. Getting fully loaded BTLs allow one to put double the RMS on one sub and play it daily (if you know what you're doing) Meade was running 4k+ to his BTLs. When he took them out of the box, he said they were still stiff. TeamHT is running a Rockford T40001bd on each of his BTLs. He has 3

    2 18 btls

Not really. Op, I'd make the box about 15-16 cubes (if possible) because of the little power you have. The box you designed would work, but you'd get more output from the bigger box. What options do the BTLs have?
  21. I miss the show, "Trick It Out." It's about 2 teams getting the sane cars, but customizing them in a certain time frame. The winning team gets both cars.
