How many of the 14v and how many of the 12v? Or are you just asking whether to go 14v or 12 v for the Stetsoms? I'd go with 14v if I had the money and electrical to back it up? But I'd probably do 12v if it were for a daily driver.

Decaf plays with and makes songs that are loud. He's said before he doesn't care who or what song it is...I'm pretty sure he probably doesn't listen to Soulja Boy for his lyrics. He has loud songs and that's what gets played.

It's definitely moving pretty good. Did you scope your amp when setting the gains and head unit signals? The xmax on my 18's is 26mm so I'm guessing the XL 12's are the same. That should be right above a full inch. Do you think it is moving that much? And to answer your question...I wouldn't think the sub would be moving that much with a clean signal and ony 1200-1500 wRMS.

I had my XL 18 in a 7 cubic foot box(pretty big) running on an AQ 2200 for about a month and a half to 2 months and it remained stiff. I really don't notice a difference in the suspension from day 1 until now. Also I can't really tell how much the sub was moving, but going off of what you say and the power you listed, I'd be hesitant to throw more at it. A recone may do you some good. Are 18" woofers supposed to be stiffer than 12"? An old JL 12w3 of mine moves similar to how you described yours. Ask Rusty about it and go from there, I guess.
