dc, sundown, skar(?) havent really looked into them to much but there good from what ive heard, DD, the list goes on... dc's new line drops begining-mid jan. as far as i know, the pricing is pretty decent too

from what ive heard they put you on the floor for a month or two before they get you into the bay...also... theres 4 certs, Basic, Advanced, Masters, Product specialist 60,8O,8O(?),65 to take the tests respectivly... you cant take the adavanced for a year after you pass your basic UNLESS you have either a 90% avarage score on the basic, or 90% on all sections, its one or the other idr which, masters you have to have 2-5 years exp. i think in a shop, you need to pass the basic to take the product specialist I THINK im not 100% sure

i went to school up in north jersey, thats what gave me my one up, most shops like they said really dont car about the BASIC MECP cert. if you have the advance MECP cert, your more likly to get the job, basic is just book work, and half its not even on the test, i used my car as my portfolio, just be honest with what you can do if you get an interview, i told my now boss (i just got the job yesterday) im not comfortable doing remote starts and alarms right now, because time is money, itll take me say 6 hours to do a remote start + alarm when itll take an exp. installer 3 hours, dont lie to them, and be like oh i can do alarms like cake, when you really cant, cuz thell put you on the spot and say okay, i have one lined up right now, then your fucked, im mainly doing custom work, h/u, subs, amps, and speakers, because thats what i excell at, MECP is good to have but itll only get you so far, unless you have masters, renew is every two years i think, also my boss said to me my wiring wasent the cleanest, i told him why(cuz i had a show to get ready for) which was infact true, so they also want it to be clean, not some pile of wires where it works, but looks like shit

you gained like .3 with a direct swap from level 5's right nick? ive heard two diffrent vehicles aswell with pretty close setups, one with neo 18's and other with lvl 6 15's, now 18's, and there both pretty damn close, nicks to me sounds a little cleaner, no offence brandon, but on the other side brandon gives me a little more kick in the chest, dont get me wrong chodes gets me pretty good too, just my .02
