  1. Thanks. You're a good box designer, Now get to designing one
  2. I need gas money to get to school and back tomorrow pretty bad, so Today Only I'll do box deigns for $5 each examples: http://www.midwestcaraudio.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4 Just shoot me a PM with what's in bold
  3. False information, (been taking electronics tech. for about 6 months now, and we just briefly touched on caps in the last week) but from what I've learned, they are extremely efficient. Also, in some cases (Strictly SPL) I would run Nothing But Caps. Talking 5-600 farads.
  4. Good to go. 7:1 port ratio, 15in^2 of port per 1ft^3 (assuming you will be somewhere close to 12 cubes after displacement) is the sketchup drawn to scale? It doesn't look like a 5" port width. jw
  5. If it is as small as 1 farad, you're way better off with getting another battery. Some (most--98%) here will tell you to ditch capacitors all-together. Hell I wouldn't even think about running caps unless you had 300+ farads at your disposal EDIT: When I read "competition purposes" It kind of threw me off....... If you plan on strictly a daily system, capacitors are junk IMO
  6. Here's a hairtrick (sorta) with port on the bottom. 2 $150 subs, and only 1000wrms It's all in the design mayne, This setup didn't even cost us $500 How much airspace are you working with? It doesn't look like much
  7. For some reason you have to enter www. I can probably fix it, in about 9 months
  8. Review HERE <-- 4th one down http://www.ltparis.com/2009/06/27/review-k...celon-kdc-x693/
  9. Haven't seen him on the forum in a while But HBD none the less

  11. If they are just circle ports with no flare, you can do 4 @ 25.5" long, and you can block one of the ports off for ~33hz If they are flare ports, how big is the outter part of the flare? Edit: Andy beat me to it. I wasn't going to suggest 4 flare ports. Definately too much port area.
