It's an AP3k man... One good battery is enough. You more than likely have a 120a alt (double check). Figure you have 50a in reserve and your amp draw with that amp is 200 MAX. Figure less than that unless it's an extreme situation (voltage drop, clipped out the ass, etc). Hook up what you have and see how it does. If it sucks (voltage wise) get a good battery and sell the cap. Just remember if you want to go 14v+ all the time you're going to need like a 300a alt especially if you have another amp for interiors. If I were you I would do what I said, hook it up and see what happens. If it doesn't work well sell the cap, get a 3100 or 2400 or 2700 (whatever fits) and a smaller one for the rear if you still need more. Just keep in mind you can't run around blasting it all the time even with an alt, it will fry.

Do the big 3, run it and see what happens. Anyone that immediately says "you need an HO alt" for an AP3k and doesn't even ask what vehicle you have is someone you don't need to be listening to (not to mention there are people running way more on stock alts, you just need to charge your batts). Speaking of which what vehicle? What size stock alt? Hook it all up, do the big 3 and see how much voltage drop you get. If the cap has a voltmeter on it hook up a meter and make sure it's accurate before you count on it. If you have crazy drop, dimming lights, etc. then you can address the issue from there.

With one amp you would have to run them at 2ohms or .5ohms. If the amp is 1ohm stable then run it at 2ohms. Check the rating at 2ohms and more than likely it should get it within the power range for those subs.

Better to find the problem Before I left The Planet my servers had purchased hardware which was a pretty sweet deal. They got rid of that as an option I think, but in the future if you need an upgrade they often times have clearance items that can be bought upfront. I used to get extra disks and ram for a one time fee which would be paid for within 3-6 months of their monthly charges. Just something to keep in mind the next time you need to upgrade

Good idea. The best thing you can do is try to improve her situation where she is and just monitor it for yourself (if they are local). Keep the custody thing on the back burner because without proof of any wrong doing the court won't move her especially if there is not a recorded history of problems (generally they send out a social worker to investigate conditions in the home). Find out the laws in your area and just make sure your dad is providing what he should be.
