To speak for all the haters.... You know Autotek makes an amp that does 75,000 watts for $250... Well, it is 200 watts RMS and 75,000 peak at 1,000% THD... (And only draws 10 amps!) LOL! Gotta say I love my DC 5ks!!! (Wish I could afford more, well worth the money!) Running them at .5 ohm and never had them go into protect or anything...

if you do not have any 0 for the ground, at least triple up some 8 gauge....

OUCH my man! you can get a mini phone jack to rca cable at walmart, plug into a phone and play music to test amp... But, more than likely it damaged the power supply of the amp... possibly some mosfets... I hate to say it, but that was not a good move... you are trying it with a bigger ground wire now I hope?!

capacitors are good for voltage drop only if you have a strong enough alternator to keep up with it and your system... It sounds like the alt doesnt... I would say a battery close to the back would help best...

We are gonna experiment and see how little ALPA DAMP we can get away with and totally quiet all the rattles! I am willing to bet another trunk pack would do it! And to me that is incredible!!!

Chris Gregory of MECA and Wall Streets Finest and I decided to put Second Skins ALPHA DAMP to the test! We took his van with 12 Incriminator Audio 15's and its damaged, badly flexing and loudly rattling roof and covered it with what we had in the ALPHA DAMP Trunk Pack... Do you think it was enough to stop the rattling???? You will be VERY AMAZED!!! Watch the video! I am a die hard fan of the ALPHA DAMP material and will buy NOTHING BUT Alpha Damp!
