BlaneC

Most of the smaller ford engines cant run dual alts. You'll most likely have to ditch your ac or power steering.

Can you change mine to BlaneC please

It's probably about 50/50 on the people who recommend them, monkey see monkey do. Yaddidmean? And the monkey see monkey do works great for their marketing and even better for "development" of their products

Ya man, definitely listen to the people who have never seen a dc sub in person.

Seriously? What answer did you expect from this forum... Dc ftw duh. You coulda said lvl 2s and it would still be dc ftw. Buy a real product. Not a dc sub.

7hz tuning ftw

You most likely have no where near the room to build a proper 6th order for 4 12s in that car

If you have the cash now I would try to get this one. Damn good price so far. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-5K-Sundown-Audio-SAZ-3000D-Car-Amplifier-/400225368773?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item5d2f4a7ac5#ht_1871wt_1110 If not keep looking for used. For that price you'll have to get used except for the crescendo.

Whats your reasonable price? Better have a big budget for a decent sized amp.

the alt negative is the same as the engine ground. arent all of these wires 1/0?? i didnt notice but you need two fuses between the front battery and back bank. one close to each end. i completely disagree. remember you need negative runs from alt to battery. i like to use an alt mount as a grounding spot. Why do you disagree? That is more than enough ground. I know that you need the alt to battery grounds but I was just talking about front to back. why does it make any sense to have 4 positive runs and two negative runs? even if you do two more to the frame, why settle for the much more resistive steel to carry current to your batteries/amps? Because negative doesn't carry any current. You are just providing a ground. Why would it matter where it is coming from. its funny how often people argue with me that dont know what they are talking about. 1st off, DC flows from - to +. second, this is called a circuit. current goes through all the wires. do you think it just disappears?? and if you dont believe me you can go get a clamp meter and measure the + and - wires and see the amperage on each is about the same. I'm not trying to argue at all man. Amperage may be the same but there is no voltage so the current is not there. I always believe in having good grounds, and I believe what I suggested would be perfectly fine.

It doesn't matter where you put it its just a ground. Check these out- http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/tool-maker/46437-show-off-your-toolmaker-goodies-here.html

Yeah connect frame to buss bar

For bussbars go on caraudioclassifieds.org and look for tool maker

You really only need like 2 runs of negative front to back then one or two grounds in the back to the frame and you would be fine.

What impedance are your subs?

Single 6" for 2-sa 12's is perfect

Imakebaddecisions

After shipping from him to me its only like 10 bucks less than a new one, and he's been busy lately and I need it quickly.

Need a sa-8 dual 2 Or just a sa-8 motor shipped to 93277 and need it in my hands by next sunday

go on caco theres a guy selling 4 of them

Are these motors and baskets?

Every body asks the same questions, then 10 people give them the same answer 10 posts in a frikin row

You don't need 2 fuses from the batt to the amp, one is more than enough
