Remote clip light how to read?
sundownz replied to tbeats's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
If the light just blinks a little -- don't worry about it. If it stays solid for long periods; then you should be concerned. -

SAZ 3500 v2 AMM-1 test
sundownz replied to Nealon14's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
The Ampere 3800 is our old 3500D v.1 board -- the v.2 is really nothing like that anymore -
SCV-7500
sundownz replied to Mr Bigolsworth's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Same price as NS-1 v.2 -- it will be the replacement for it in our line. As with the other SCV it is limited to 12v systems. I will be working on an NS-2 as our big "16v capable" amplifier as well. -
Zv4 rev 2 18s in stock?
sundownz replied to Popwarhomie's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
They are not in-stock -- but we have the parts to build them in stock. With 6-spoke or new style 18" frames. -
X-8 On SAE-1000D?
sundownz replied to TrunkMuzik's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
I would do around 0.75-0.85 for it on the 1000D. It's really quite difficult to thermally damage an X-8 -
X series v2
sundownz replied to Markous's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
The first X-10 v.2 has been built for EMF. I see they have two others on order -- and I don't know whom they each belong to. But I posted pics of the first one yesterday -- looks mean : https://www.facebook.com/sundownusa/photos/pcb.822353804486759/822353644486775/?type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/sundownusa/photos/pcb.822353804486759/822353767820096/?type=1&theater -
X series v2

pics please https://www.facebook.com/sundownusa/photos/pb.114478905274256.-2207520000.1433596457./806452669410206/?type=3&theater Here is less than 10% of the overall order... haha. Suffice to say I think WoofersEtc will still have X v.1 available for a while for anyone needing a mate. -
Both baskets & drop-ins are available -- drop in an e-mail to [email protected] to get a full quote.

X series v2
sundownz replied to Markous's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
We have shipped some out. I know I personally build 5 so far -- I just do a few here and there when I get time Should see some videos and stuff soon. We are starting to tear into the X v.2 orders -- we had a MASSIVE order for the last of the X v.1 to work on before we could get rolling full force. -
I will continue using the 6-spoke as stock for the X & Z lines -- the new frame is optional on them due to cost. The NS v.3 will go forward with the new frame as stock -- as well as the TEAM series. I will still have parts to make the NS v.3 with the 6-spoke for at least a year or so I imagine based on the # of spiders and other parts that I have... the only part that will run dry will be the old style Mega-Roll surrounds. I will stop carrying those by the end of the year.

X-12 v.2 Video (First Look)
sundownz replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
The official MAP is $50 more than the v.1 series. -
I actually set it up so that you can mate the new frame to any 3" coil motor we've ever made -- obviously some are much more suitable than others. For instance -- I wouldn't bother to mate it to a Z v.1 or Z v.2 motor -- but you COULD if you wanted to. I have Z v.4 coils with long enough formers (these can fit NS v.1 and v.2 motors as well as Z v.3 motors) and NS v.3 coils (which will fit the X series and NS v.3)... and, of course, coils for the TEAM motors once I get the new spiders in that will work on these frames.

X series v2
sundownz replied to Markous's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
We have not promoted sales of them until they arrive (as we are still catching up on our build list) -- but we do have some fairly big quantities on order from distributors. I'd expect to see them in peoples hands within a few weeks =) -
new line of sax200.4
sundownz replied to Miguels's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
It won't be -- we've done that before. Sales weren't there. It was too large & too expensive to generate adequate sales. Oh OK I see thanks for the reply. So is there any amps you guys are currently selling that is class ab? I may have to buy a used one from someone. I'm looking for a sundown 4 channel that has at least 120 a channel at 4 ohms. SAX-100.4 v.2 It is a bit under-rated so will be right around your goal power.
