  1. diode isolate the sensors from each other. what alarm system do you have? most have multiple inputs for added sensors.
  2. let it go. everybody tries to be a hater and dis everybody so they feel better about themselves being absolute losers. if you are good to go.......fuck em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. are you lookin to put 4k each or to the set? if 4k to the set, you will be fine. 4k each on the otherhand may be a bit much if the box aint spec'd properly. but i say go for 4k each and let em wang!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. you rock!!!! it aint secure yet.........but it is recording now. now i just need to make a secure folder. my 13 yr old is smarter than me on these damn pewters! LOL
  5. just user name no password, otherwise i could get in it and just pull the conversation tab.
  6. okay, b4 i start i know many will say f-u to me for my question, but as a parent, i need to know. my child (13 yrs old) is on msn messenger all the time. recently i had the law come by for inappropriate stuff started by my kid. now my question is ---- how can i find out what he is typing on this damn thing? i dont care to see everybodies conversations, just his. any help would be great. thanks guys! and gals too. mojo
  7. i would highly recommend the pioneer piece over the jensen one. while the screen is awesome on the jensen, the output of the jensen lacks a lot. we sell a ton of the 9312's to kids just wanting cheap video, but they dont have much other than stock speakers. the pioneer has been a good seller as well, but it aint as inexpensive as the jensen. if possible go to a local shop or big box store that carries them to compare.
  8. your alt still needs to keep up with the charging of the batts. no matter what volume levels. good luck!!
  9. looks like you are on the right track!! but you WILL NEED to upgrade the alternator as well. batteries do not compensate for lack of charging power.
  10. the only thing you keep on the mojos when re-coning them is the magnet. so it is a brand new cone and voice coil
  11. well since i unfortunately know him better than most of you here, i will chime in on his douche-ed-ness. when he acts like a normal person, you can tolerate him, as soon as he opens his fuckin pie-hole he loses all credibility. and GP- good news is he IS in the Navy and not in SD or ND for that matter. he is at his training school. the boy talks a mean game to those who dont know much, but if you have any common sense, you can see right through the BS. pay him no mind and he goes away, listen to him babble and he is like a leach-- stuck on ya for ever
  12. as a memphis dealer, we see a lot of 150+ cars with 2 of the 12" mojo's. usually running off a 4kw running a burp at .5ohm. daily at 2 ohm. if you have the space go with the quad 15's and a pair of 4kw strapped. you will be amazed how well they play music at high volumes. and there is no need to do a huge box or wall with them if only doing 2 subs. hell their prefab boxes that audio enhancers builds for them make them pound hard!!!!! and yeah, they need to work on the cosmetics of them ugly bitches.
  13. just a thought, but did you try a different ignition key? they have a built in transponder for theft deterent. try that. it sounds like it is going into protect. when it doesnt see the proper coded ignition key, it will not turn the fuel pump on. again, just a thought. or it could be the ignition cylynder not picking up the encoded key.
  14. phillip- you can make a new base plate for you router really easy. i have a porter cable as well and made one with a larger hole in the plate with a piece of 1/8" hardboard. you can use plastic too, but i had the hardboard.
  15. back on topic.... what do y'all think of 8.5 cubes with a slot port 5x25 27" long "L" shaped? should tune it around 33 hz or so. final inside gross is 46.5x18.5x17high (8.46ft3) has anybody had a problem or issue with the vent being right under just one of the woofers? thanks for the advice in advance!!!!!!!!!!
  16. well i finally got the burb back and am going to start on the build. but i need to figure out a good slammin box for daily. 3- 12" mojo's and 2 4kw amps. here are my max outside dimensions: 48wide x 16 high x 20 deep. the 16 high may be increased if necessary, but no higher than 20" MAX. looking for an enclosure similar to meades with an "L" vent. subs up, vent up. any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. is it wrong for me to be married for 14 years this past tuesday and i cant remember the last major arguement we had? we talk in the morning when we get up and at night during dinner. she takes care of our boy and our homeand still teaches school. i think marriage is supposed to be 50/50, but with the shop, it is hard to make it. if you open the communication lines up early in your relationship, any problem can be talked through without getting too heated. i think i married the right one. money never comes up, i can have a boys night out occassionally, and still come home and be taken care of. LOVE is awesome, and if you have true love, nothing will come between ya. good luck on your journey ahead, and make the best of everything. it is only as good as you are willing to put into it.
  18. dont be too cheap. 1000 bucks for 2 weeks of work aint a whole-lot-a paper. if we were doing it in our shop, we would be around 2g's. custom work takes time and skill. if you aint a shop, then 1000 bucks may be in line with what they expect.
  19. are you trying to check voltage or current? if current, then you need to hook it up differently to check that. remove the pos lead of the battery and connect the meter in series with it. set to highest scale dc current and meter away. voltage is obviously just connecting pos to pos and neg to neg.
  20. slinky- you are baggin on memphis and you are running what? power accoustik? hmmmmm no disrespect, but pa dont hold a candle to memphis in my opinion. yes they are less expensive though. i will run memphis because it is what i have and i know it slams hard.
