  1. 2 15's subs up on pass side port facing rear on drivers side 8cu.ft. Use like 4k of power and it will be more than you need.I had this in my 91 rex ,for my daily set up.It will still do 150's on the mic.Just make sure you brace the box good.
  2. Are there any codes stored in the computer? Sounds like it could be a TPS sensor. But you would really need to have it tested before you go and start changing parts and guessing.
  3. I am not sure, but i think the goal was to put as much aftermarket junk on the truck as poss.
  4. You need to make 2 different boxes,1 for the 12's and 1 for the 15's .But why do that when you can make 1 box for 4 12's or 4 15's.
  5. Ok, 1st check the level, probably not that but you should check it anyway.2nd did you have this problem b 4 you had the oil changed,i will say you did not,so the answer to your question is........ the oil change places probably used 5w30 which is a thinner weight oil,so i would recommend, changing the oil again ,and this time use 10w40, this should solve your problem.Let me know.
  6. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. If you want something that will take more power and pound harder, your gonna have to look elsewhere.Other than that stay with the specs that alpine gives you.
  8. As far as the 9k,there is no word on them yet.I heard they were waiting for parts, but no one knows when they will be available.
  9. Amps look great.waiting to see what you get when you do some testing
  10. Nice looking box If it doesnt work out well, you could always do a bandpass, and port that thru the rear deck.
  11. I would do the big 3 ,and upgrade your factory battery to an xs.Then if you do future upgrades, like getting a bigger amp.You will be all set under the hood.
  12. It is possible that because the ball joints were bad it could have caused them to wear.So as long as everything is tight on the front end, getting the front end lined up should take care of any future wearing .
  13. Since it worked before they touched it,it probably still works.Check to see if on the side of the amp if it has a slave switch, maybe it got bumped when you unhooked it ,or when they installed it.
  14. As a member of TNESPL i dont wanna see you go.But as a friend, you need to do whats best for you and your family. And with the rising costs of living in NY ,and the shitty paying jobs I say go for it. Make a better life for you and your family.
  15. Just really not sure where to start or what to say.
  16. That sucks. But as long as you werent hurt thats the good thing. You can always fix the truck.
