  1. We used to do this in a church downtown when lacrosse practice was rained out. Its hard as fuck to get it right, but we would get it a few go arounds. Now this is with a ball and a net which in my eyes can be much more accurate time and time again, unlike this guy as you said. I think the record was three times (in a smaller square then what they have) in more of a triangle.
  2. Just wow. 10000 watts of sound is a lot. People = dumb.
  3. Theres some things you just shouldnt do. Thats why AA doesnt make the mayhems or the SMDs into a 10". It just wouldnt work like its supposed to. As for jeff, <3 the lvl 6. Just kind of wondering when DC will start changing up theyre business, because they will start breaking backs instead of windshields if they dont figure something out before the lvl 7. Is there an SPL version of the lvl 6 yet?
  4. Sexay. Used to do that shit in lacrosse...getting them just right isnt easy.
  5. As for DD being pricey, that's why thefts one of the best, you get what you pay for. As for the setup, you have 6.2 cubic before displacement? If so then one 18 is pushing it on space...as in I wouldn't do it unless you go with an smd maybe as they like smaller boxes. I wouldn't give an 18 less than 7 cubes though, after displacement. I think 4 10s would work the best in this case.

  7. damn i need to get some of those. here i am buying amps for power like a sucker Oldschool bro.
  8. Someone asks me my opinion. I give it. They don't go with my reccomendation, so fuck it, I quit. Not exactly a good business strategy, as those same people can call in, get info over the phone for an hour, then still run to aa, dc, sa, etc.
  9. Silverware? Food processor? Oh oh oh, a/c or water heater? Might try some car audio deadener on the roof since god knows roofing supplies work so good for car audio.
  10. Get one pack of alpha damp for $140 and that's all you need. Will be far more effective without it falling off or stinking. /endthread
  11. See what it does? Lol. I would have tuned more like 37-40. Youll be extremely low. That shouldn't be too big airspace wise though. Should be just about right.
  12. If I hadn't worked this weekend I prolly would have gone. Looks wicked, can't wait for more vids.
  13. My woofers make 5000 watts. Many aspects come into play as well as motorforce. There's no 'more cone area will be louder. Look at dbdon doing 162s iirc with only 4 15"s. Some guys aren't hitting that with 6 18s.
  14. I've seen several 160+ builds using the CDA 9887, but I had the same issue with my cd player when the bass hit and it ended up being a bad groud on the cd player. (although I'm nowhere near 160+ and you probably checked the wiring) Dbdon, ray, bassick, and boiler all come to mind on good people to ask. Edit: sorry, didnt see the only 157+ peeps. Thought it was good input. Sowwy.
  15. Which ma audio amp? It may protect at lowish voltage. Your alt could be fucked and its straining it far too much. Rectifier blown on it maybe? Stock alt?
  16. I've been driving trucks, tractors, and 4 wheelers since I was 12. I failed my first attempt because the birch I got to give the test apparently never passes anyone on their first try. Get fucked.
  17. I'm almost tempted to pickup a couple 8s although I have no use for them ATM...great deals here.
  18. Used it for tools and in sports like paintball and lacrosse for numerous things. The most I'd use it for on a car would be to revive the plastic window moldings on ya outside of the car.
