  1. Magic lol No, seriously 2 external regulators on switch activated relays, one for each pair of alts.
  2. Decided to make it look hidden when off and make it come to life once on, Fab a mount with some CA glue and factory clip mount. Auto Strippers are my favorite kind to use in tight spots Ignition OFF Ignition ON Daily voltage, no overcharging here. 14.3 volts Competition voltage, all 4 SMD Mechmans ON 15.0 volts And the video, enjoy
  3. What his video explains is with a twisted pair RCA, which is what basically everyone sells like crazy, it is noise in = noise out, so noise becomes rejected in the amp, if it is a differential amp, only most high end amps have this feature because you required a differential op amp to sum and reject the noise. Most amps fall into the single input signal format, just signal and ground, no summing or rejecting, so any noise in the system you amplify making it a benefit to use sheilded RCA cables, not twisted pair. Sheilded block noise, twisted allow noise because the amp rejects it if differential based. Like Tony says in the video you will have continuity thru the ground sheild of the RCA on the amp to chassis ground with a DMM, if that is present you need single input Sheilded RCAs. COAX.
  4. Yeah, I'm running twisted, when I should probably be running coax. I'm assuming AQ amps fall into the 75% category. Hopefully I won't have too much noise. Great video! wish it would have been up awhile ago lol yeah they do, I have been using twisted cables on mine without problems, but you could always have better.
  5. Since you can clearly see the DAmore engineering on the magnets on the subs, I'd have to say those are certainly not Dayton. The phase plug on Tonys looks like it doesn't have as sharp of a point either. Just me though. OH WOW, that Damore engineering logo is just so massive I clearly missed and didn't read anything in this thread,,,,,TONS of sarcasm in here somewhere lol
  6. I just ordered one of these myself, looking forward to checking it out and finding a awesome new place for it on my dash.
  7. I don't like em any of them. Needs a better graphic designer I think is the problem
  8. amazing I posted same time as cody and look at our responses lol....
  9. That amp will pull close to 800 amps full tilt, if you are at 1 ohm nominal and clipping. I would suggest 4 of those batteries as minimum with the alt you listed.
  10. Nice video The comment about voice coils, alum dual 1 vs copper dual 1, there will be more metal in a dual 1 alum due to fact it is flat wire, copper is round wire. The alum will weigh less meaning higher SPL capable numbers vs copper wound coil.
  11. ha ha, sweet, I am definatly going to consider getting these subs, is there a wattage range where they stop gaining DB's even though you throw more power at them? In a daily build, I wouldn't be scared to put a nice 4k amp on a pair, but that would be my limit. I would guess on SPL side of things, burp only probably about 5k each and they would say fuck it I'm out!!!
  12. Keep the signal clean and no problem. I have a friend that ran two of the SA 15s on a AQ2200 zero problems daily, never got hot or smelly, just keep it clean!!!
  13. EXACTLY!!!! Mine has the line pressure up a lil high from the tune so my 1-2 shift is pretty solid and get a nice little "chirp" unless I throttle it right. And the chirp is from the belt NOT the tires!!!!
  14. I am VERY interested in this, I get belt slip during gear changes and would love to eliminate that completely. Let me know what I am looking at price wise for my truck. Also I noticed during my meter run under full tilt burp I get some belt slip as well after watching the video you can hear it squeal for a second.
  15. Wow is all I could say when I saw this thing. In for testing and SPL numbers!!!!
