You should be fine. Just make sure the nominal ohm load that the amp sees isn't below what it can do.

The load test function on a DMM will NOT test a battery. You need a true load tester. And for the charger: It might just think it can't accept a charge because the d3100 is so big. It takes a lot of juice to top off a battery like that

For those who don't know the back story, Juan put some custom diodes in my dd-1 to let it handle more juice (beyond even the 'normal' upgraded version). And it works STELLAR. Anyways... Thanks Juan for doing this and putting up with my nagging lol.

1. Don't demand a box design from people. Not the best way to 'get off on the right foot' with us. 2. We need more info. How much power are you running? What sort of music do you listen to? What vehicle is this going in? What are your max dimensions? What are your preferred dimensions? What's your budget for the box?

All thread / 2x4 / dowels on the inside 45s in the corners - my favorite for a box with a loose panel is to take the rattling side, create as big of a gap possible between it and surrounding panels, the pour some fiberglass resin in there. Once that's cured, do a couple layers of glass over that. (This works great for that by the way.) And I don't like to use screws if I can help it. Too many in an effort to hold something together just chews up the wood and makes it a tad weaker IMHO. Edit: All thread work great for spreading said panels enough for the fiberglass resin to soak into the crack. Then you can just use it as bracing.

If you have a 3.5mm to RCA converter, just play something through your iPod / computer / whatever and plug it right in to your amp

Turn the SSF all the way down, the low pass all the way up, and the gain all the way up. See if it makes any sound And some head units can turn off certain outputs - make sure the sub setting on the head unit is on, or better yet - just reset it to be double sure

[ ] Does the amp have power - verify with multi meter [ ] Does the remote wire turn on - verify with multi meter [ ] Do the RCAs have power going to them - verify with multi meter [ ] Do the outputs on the amp have power going to them when turned up and speakers disconnected - verify with multi meter [ ] Check subwoofer impedance at the amp with a multi meter [ ] Do your subs read some bizarre ohm load - verify with multi meter
