Your doors had a factory 6.5" location like mine ... Why did you fiberglass them out so far ?? I understand I tunneled mine out, just wondering your reasoning ... When you say changing ... are you moving up to 8"s ???

Your running 150 to the Cadences? And I've just got 4 cadences 2 in the front stage 2 in the back im not running tweeters or crossovers on them so i dont think im getting optimum operation with them No Sir ... I'm running 150 watts plus (each) to a pair of 6.5" Blues Car Audio Drivers ... I will be soon upgrading that to 250 watts per channel ... And what are those rated? Not sure ... We keep throwing more and more power to them and they keep screaming for more ...

I'm running about 150 watts plus on mine with no problems ... your doors set up corectly for optimum driver operation ???

How are you looking with your EQ setup on those horns ??

If it was me, and I done all that to get those horns installed properly ... I'd do a massive dual Audio Control EQ setup before I'd add any more drivers ... Those things take ALOT of EQ to sound corectly ... My guess is that you haven't eventouched the iceberg of what those things are capable of ... I know of 2 cars that slaughtered the SQ world with a pair of horns, Both of which had dual 32 band equalizers in them ... Then again bro ... Just my suggestion here ...

OK ... remember that in Sound Quality, Less is More !!! 2-way, or 3-way (active or passive ... doesn't matter) ... installation, driver positioning, aiming, power, Equalization, etc ... is the key for a great sounding system ... Sound Quality and some loudness with good music ... ALOT more info about how your system is installed will help us out better in helping you with your problem ... not adding drivers, swapping out crossovers, etc ... How much power / headroom are you running to your component set now ?? You might could try and get you a better amp to run your front stage first instead of changing out everything ... Just a suggestion ... I'n true Sound Quality ... save your money and search out the "Better Built" products ... maybe more expensive up front, but will save you lots of money later ...

Last time I heard a set of horns (under ALOT of EQ influence) ... they owned the upper midbass and highs ... This not the case here ??

X2. This thing was built solid in its day. Even by today's standards I'd say it's built very well. I think somebody should get a clamp test done and see what she really pushes Its a high voltage amp, not a high current amp ... Clamp test would not be that impressive ... But somewhere around 40 amp current draw if I had to guess ... But VERY musical ...

Just can't beat class A/B technology ...
