1) your not an idiot.... look at your custom work you do, far from a idiot..... 2) that is one hell of a deal, Im sure that 512mb memory card is around 30-40 bucks alone, and that camera is 7.2 megapixal which is pretty far up there which will give you nice clean and clear pictures. Id buy it. Crap Im still using some Argus DC3550 camera that has a 1.5" lcd screen, 3x optical zoom, and 2.1 megapixels. And I think it takes decent pictures accept in dark areas. And you can get it for 20 bucks on ebay with 2 dollar shipping... roflmao.................... http://cgi.ebay.com/Argus-DC3550-2-1-Megap...1QQcmdZViewItem im so cheap when it comes to non stereo releated items

Ram Question, Help
audiofanaticz replied to BassJunkie's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
What type motherboard are you using. Your problom is most likely that your motherboard dont support ECC/parity ram. Im susprised that you couldnt find non ECC ram. non ecc is cheaper and faster by about 2% or I guess you could say that ECC ram is slower by about 2%, either way works. lol. When adding new memory, you should match what is already in your system. Adding non ECC memory to an ECC system will disable the error checking and correcting ability of your memory modules. While your system may still operate the enhanced features of the ECC ram will no longer be active in you computer. SO with that said, non ECC and ECC ram SHOULD work together, but you are just losing out on the error checking and correcting of the ECC ram (which means you are spending more for ECC when its not going to be working like it should). But in your case the ECC ram is not working with the non ECC or alone which leads me to believe that your motherboard is not ECC compliant. Maybe you could resell it on ebay, or sell it to the other person you bought it with for like 30 bucks or something so they have more. If they where 1 gig sticks I would be interested in the ram for my server, but I already got four 512 sticks in it so 256 would be pointless. Hope I helped a lil. -

I love my razer mouse and keyboard.. It owns the shit out of logitech.. I went razer after having 2 logitech g15 keyboards fail me, and a hand full of logitech mice (mx512, mx518, g5). I was just asked if I wanted it. I dont if it was cuz I helped pack and clean everything up, or if they didnt feel like walking up the damn stairs with the thing, it weights a good 50 pounds id say. -
You got a server chilling on your desktop.... This is my new toy.. I got it from a local counterstrike source lan I went to the past weekend for FREE!!! Its a dell power edge rackmount server. Dual P3 intel 1ghz cpu's, 2 gigs of ram, and 2 cheetah 10000rpm 10gig scsi hard drives. It has linux dibian (sp) setup on it currently, even tho Im not too sure how to use it, but I did manage to host my own counterstrike source server on it, and it dont seem to lag for other users. Its hosted off my own network at the moment tho I need to get it colocated someplace.. I figured this was the perfect oppertunity to kick it in the rear and start learning linux. Heres a couple pictures

6000 Watts And A Blowthrough...what To Do?
audiofanaticz replied to shotokan_teen's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
The bl's would be good. and they look sexy too. The two 18s are powered by two ab 150.1s currently. Here is a 18" fi bl next to a 12 inch american bass dx -
It dont pay to install it. The only benifet you will get from your line driver is a higher input voltage resulting in a lower gain setting on your amp. Your amp will still work just as hard to make its power. A 4 volt preamp signal is strong enough unless your running multiple amps off that one preout and are distributing your 4volt signal through out more amps.

Wire Run Conf. Help
audiofanaticz replied to CynicLos's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
That would work just fine, but if you want to save a few bucks, just run the wire from front battery to back battery, then run the + and - wires from the batteries to the amps, and bypass the distro block. Also dont forget to chassis ground your rear battery. -
Morel ftw. Im so jealous right now. Whats the price of them if you dont mind

Got A Ticket Today
audiofanaticz replied to Jman08's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
The last one I got a month about a month ago was $98. I remember back in the day of them being $108-181.50. I never had a mandatory court date for a loud stereo fine And to go along with it they never wrote the ticket out the same. noise pollution. illegal use of car radio. radio exceeding limits of factory expectations. I just looked up my record and tried to find all the different ways they labeled them as, but I guess that stuff dont show up no more. -

That is a rip for a 220 amp alt...... 300 amp for my car is right around $400, unless there is something special about your car or something but yea. I wouldnt pay that.
-
sounds too me that you have your sub amp gain too far up... so at lower volumes your amp is already pushing its max hence why your subs dont get louder when your volume is turned up but the rest of your speakers do. 9 times out of 10 your amp gain will always be lower then halfway up. also if you have a bass boost that is all the way up, might be causing it too.
