  1. This... Oh was I so effen fustrated when I got my first Ipod until I done the above.. I guess I was just use to putting songs in a folder. btw: if you go thru the zips before adding them to playlists and pick out the songs you know or like better will save you a lot of space!! I roll around with all the zips on my flashdrive, but I have all the better songs imo in its own playlist for demos and what not.
  2. You just need more cowbell!
  3. If you want more power after rise, buy a bigger amp..
  4. What are the dimensions on the 7.5s?? I know I have 2 Saz-4500s crammed under my seats, think the 7.5s are a little longer tho?
  5. You know how us tahoe guys do it!!!
  6. scratches head.. Im guessing he just got the 2nd amp, and did not have a chance to buy more dual inputs?
  7. a simple fix to this upgrade to a faster internet connection. your obviously maxing out the current speeds you have, and nothing will fix the issue but a faster download and upload speed. or you just be selfish and hide the other computers when your playing xbl. LOL edit, if your running a wireless setup in your house, id enter your routers control panel, and make sure you have the wireless connection set to secure and password protected too! You never know if someone is stealing your megabits!!!
  8. There is, its called a clamp meter and digital multimeter. Once you clamp the amp you will know the power the amp is making. There is now way to really tell other then that due to a speaker being a variable impedance, and with every frequency the speaker plays will result in a different amount of power being giving to the speaker. A Another words if you are 100% sure the amp is making 80watts rms at 60hz, it does not mean it is making 80wrms at 100hz, or 50hz. true, just like there is an oscope What I mean is a device with lcd display that does all of the calculations for you. So all you need to do is plug in and play. calculations? Its AC Amperage X AC Voltage = POWER. You too bro!

  10. I would use whatever brand primer matches the brand of bedliner. If its rustolium bedliner, use rustolium primer. Sometimes mixing different brands of paint can cause a chemical reaction, so this is why you should use the same brand. MDF will soak up paint like a BI*CH! The primer will act as a good first sealing coat, resulting in less paint needed. Tho if the bedliner is thicker, it may not be too bad without primer.
  11. it will work. just use a primer base first for best results, or you may go thru a lot of cans!!
  12. Many shops dont care about a test such as MECP. Anyone can read a book, and take a test, and still not know how to build a box properly or wire a radio... There is a member on this site that is mecp certified and works for a bestbuy, but makes a post about how to make a port and tune it..... That shows you how good the mecp certification is... The shop will care more about hands on experience that you have, builds you have previously done, some sort of portfolio may be a good idea. I think the whole MECP thing is the wrong way to get started in this field. All it will do is give you a bigger ego because your licensed and you really dont know anything. A shop will want to mold and build you the way they want you to work and do things, if anything you can always get your first certs after being a installer for a couple years.. And their is more then 1 mecp test, they can get expensive depending how far you take it.
  13. This site is secure and safe, however we can not guarantee things that users steal images from for their avatars or signatures. These Mal-ware threads have been mentioned a few times More then likly his avatar is safe, and really is only a potential threat if you where to download it, however I doubt even that. What is probably happening is the site is known to be a infected site where he got his avatar, and while the picture is virus/mal-ware free, the site is not, so in general your antivirus/mal-ware program is just picking up the actual site that is in its database as a reported attack site on your antivirus/malware software. I think I have the power to remove his avatar, so I will do that and give him a PM about it. Hopefully it will fix the problem. Your getting this due to OrionStangs avatar picture
  14. Hustle all day leaving haters sauteed, down on my knee shooting dice in the hallway! Yea nigga! Time to turn the noise up, playtime is over pick the motherfucking toys up!

  15. awaits video!!!! I hear a T-Line with that sub in the trunk of the corolla should do well
  16. That is correct, I just used those same style LEDs not long ago. They are the autozone special LED strips that sell for 15bucks and have 2 little 4 inch strips. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Alpena-8-in-red-colorful-flexible-LED-light/_/N-25pw?itemIdentifier=60050&_requestid=621363 Also keep this thread clean guys!
  17. First of all, all this useless boo hoo crap is not needed, nor is it needed telling another member to go F himself. Two wrongs dont make a right. If you dont mind waiting the extra 2 days then whats the point of making this post, except to have a sympathy act being made for you, which backfired miserably. If you wanted it for Christmas your mom should of ordered it sooner, or payed for upgraded shipping, so you should be taking your concerns out with your mom. Not Second Skin, nor the rest of the users here! Btw, if you already know your getting it, why does it matter if you have it by the 25th of December or not. Its not like your mom is going to wrap it and stick it under the tree so you can act surprised about something you already knew was on the way... This topic is pointless!
  18. Had a driveby a block away from my house tuesday night/wednesday morning. Hmm I wonder what Im sleeping with under my pillow for a while... hahahaha

  19. No, nothing to show. The installer prints out the vehicle wiring info, and then uses the installer manual that they have for the alarm. Its then finding which wire is which with a test light or digital multimeter if theres more then 1 color wiring in the vehicle (which there is), once they know which black wire is the tach wire, they look on the install guide for the tachometer and notice its a violet/white wire, and connect the 2 together.
  20. did you enter the correct number of "common port walls" that is probably your problem. if you dont enter the correct number of common port walls which tells where you are putting the port, it will just guess that your doing it differently then what you have planned. If im assuming what you are doing for your port, you would want 3 common port walls which would mean the top baffle, bottom baffle, and side wall would be used as 3 of the sides of the port. and the cut sheet giving is for one way of assembly, you do not need to cut to those dimensions, I always figure out the cut sheet myself since I build the boxes together differently then what the cut sheet would tell me to.
