This! Get it, as well as Half Life 2, get CounterStrike: Source(costs $20-$25 at walmart, maybe less now). Most times you can get it in a combo deal with Half Life 2 CS:s is a good fps game. Or you can goto SteamPowered.com and download the client for CS:s, TF2,DOD:s, and install it, you can buy/download the games with paypal thru steam. Cod:4, team fortress 2, day of defeat: source aint to bad either. HAHA, It got old for me fast. Got 3 level 40s or there abouts in a month and got sick and tired of doing same old stupid quests to level up over and over and over and over. I liked playing the game, I liked the scenery I guess, but the quests... PVP was cool, tho it sucked at a low level. I often found myself in places I shouldnt be like in the badlands as a human when I was lvl 12... Maybe if I still toked a ton of trees I would still play, but highly doubtful. Paying the monthly service fee is bogus IMO. If you been playing since 2006, thats ruffly 45 months and you spent almost $600 on montly costs, not including the game, and said expansions once you reach a certain level. Tho they continuously are upgrading the game, adding things in, and making it better or maybe not better, but giving you more objectives to keep giving them money. I can honestly say that I was never a mmorpg style game fan, or even rpg. I like my first person shooters/racing style games.

You get your recones ordered bro? Also dont forget to buy CA Glue from DD to do the recones. You should be able to get away with only 1 bottle of CA glue and 1 bottle of activator. I know I reconed 5 dd9512s, and a dd3510, and a 9515 with 2 bottles of each and still had enough to at least get another sub reconed.

Yea I would of went too if I got a invite... Last year invites where sent to some that only had 20-30 points just to get a good turn out and actually have decent sized brackets. This year it seems as if thats not the case, and most the class's have a WHOLE 3 COMPETITORS... LOL There seems to be more then a few classes with only 1 or 2 competitors in the classes. I think the biggest bracket is 5 or 6 cars. Pretty sad IMO for being a "national" event. Dont get me wrong it will seem like more competitors attending due to Drag and Usaci sharing the arena (tho it looks like they are using 2 different locations (or at least for SQ).

thats why it says 1500*2 @ 1 ohm. * meaning 1500 by 2. And yes, the RF and AQ are the best so far on the list. The RF will be a bit of a cleaner sounding amp, but for the price of the AQ you cant beat it. But the AQ will outperform all the other amps listed so far by both SQ and rated RMS power. So if you got the spair bucks go with the rf, otherwise the AQ.

DD subs are severly under-rated. The 9500 series is 1500wrms, and Im putting over 3000wrms to each one of mine daily. If that gives you an idea on how much they are under rated

I strongly say to think about what amp(s) you will be using before buying subs or recones. Or buy your recones that will work with your amp for now, and once you buy a new amp to buy new recones AGAIN to get the most out of your amp.

No amps are warrantied at .5 Its stupid to run at .5 ohms or lower for daily applications. Many people say they run them at said ohm, but they never factor in impedance rise. As well as you have impedance rise at some frequancys, but at other frequancys it may drop well below .5 ohms, That could result in instantly frying the amp. And your still not factoring in the needed extra battery power to run the amps at that ohm load. Id figure you would need a nice strong alternator, and 2 if not 3 big batteries if you want to play it safe. Ruffly $250-$350 per battery, and a good $400 alternator, just to safely run your amp at .5 ohm Your not going to see much extra power running your amps at .5 ohms in a daily used musical system after you factor in the heat, the loss of effiecncy, the bigger current draw needed to make power. And to buy a monster 1ohm stable amp to run it 2 ohms is going to be so costly its not funny because your not using it to its max potential. From your amp(s) running hotter makes them less effiecent. Over time the extra heat can damage or weaken your mosfets making them never carry the rated current low the mosfets are rated for. You have a higher chance of frying your amp(s) Lets look at the new Sundown SAZ-4500D for instance. It does 4500wrms @ 1 ohm with 13.8volts I believe. It costs $1200 brand new. The presale cost is 14% cheaper. So $1368 once the amp is released and presale is over. Now you want to run this amp at 2 ohms which is 2000wrms @ 2 ohms. Your paying $1368 for a 2000wrms amp.... Is that really worth it? Considering you can go out and buy 2 brand new sundown SAZ-2000D that will each do 2000wrms @ 1 ohm for $1230. So your getting double the RMS wattage from 2 amps at 1 ohm for less money. Two DD3500 series subs will laugh at 2000watts rms (which would be 1000wrms each). So your going to need to buy a good 6000wrms or 7000wrms @ 1 ohm amp to get decent power from it at 2 ohms to happily power 2 3500 series subs. Its not worth it. As for your JBL 1200.1 amp. It does 1200wrms at 1 or 2 ohm. Most amps dont do the same power ratings at 1 and 2 ohm, except the apline pdx lines. Im sure theres a few others but dont know them off the top of my head.

Yea, I believe it even says said impedances on their site. you can get dual 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, and 1.5 But if its not dual 2 or dual 4 ohm coils they charge extra for those impedance. I did not really say that. The 9500 series recones work in other brand subs, wear as the 3500 series recones do not work in other brand woofers is what I was meaning. My old setup from 6 or 7 years ago was 2 dd 3515s in a 12.6 cubed box tuned to 40 hz with a audiobahn hct2300 on each sub. It claimed 2400wrms @ 1 ohm or pure dirrrrrty power. So if your box is built correct I dont see why you cant put a clean 2000-2500ish wrms per sub. Not for a pair of recones and a baskets. We dont stock much on hand from how shitty the econemy is. So you would have to drive here, place your order and pay, then come back when it arrives. Sounds like a bunch of running around and wasting gas for nothing. We charge MSRP for recones and such. Now if your wanting to buy a complete system brand new from me I can give you lots of good deals.

DD will sell you recones as long as you can provide proof you have a dd product needing the recone. This all happened with Konaki subs being sold on ebay and the 9500series recones fitting the cheap subs. There is no DD Dealer in his area... Tho he has 3500D series subs, and well that recone dont really fit much because of their gap, width, and length. As for what impedance coils you should get... That is up too you. You should really figure out what you plan to do with your amp situation. Either the single 1200watt amp you currently have, 2 of those amps, or one giant amp. It be wise to make up your decision right now. Yes, you can get 2 amps and run them at 2 ohms like you have said. But if your a true basshead, after a few weeks you will get sick of it and will want it louder. Thus needing to get a 1 big amp that will do 5-6krms and cost alot and not get full use out of it running it at 2 ohms (that is if you go with dual 1 ohm recones). This said amp will cost a pretty penny(around $1000 depending on brand). Your almost better off buying new recones again to bring down your current amps down to 1 ohm nominal (if you get a 2nd matching amp). This will be much cheaper. IMO I think Dual 1.5 ohm coils are the best all around. This helps fight impedance rise. Since you can run 1 sub with 1 amp at .75 ohms, or 2 subs on 2 amps strapped at 1.5 ohms, or 2 subs on 1 amp at .37 (great for burps only), or 2 subs on 1 amp at 1.5 ohm (which isnt a 1 ohm load, but it would give you more power then running at 2 ohms if you went with 2 subs that are dual 2 ohms). As for different sized baskets in the pm I got from you. I cant disclose prices online. I am not your dealer unffortunatly unless you come to me. I cant tell DD what to price to sell your gear at. Tho I know when I upgraded from a 12 to a 18 and a 15 to a 18 I got a nice deal, tho this is manly because I dropped lots of money on my gear I got from them. Any amp that does a good clean solid 3000rms @ 1 ohm would be good for the sub. Maybe a bit more power since the box is so small.. Id at least look into a 5 cubed box if not a little bigger!

Cheaper is not always better when sacrificing performance. If price is the case, why not goto wal-mart and get some sony, pioneer, or the $23 vr3 subs? LOL Sundown has some very doable pricing, and all it costs is your signature.

Hmm sounds like Installer/builder error IMO. A box in placed in your back seat (ported or sealed) will never really sound right, or as loud as it should unless the box was built for that application. Otherwise your going to mess up sound waves and not give the sub(s) anything proper to load off of. Well if its a box in a trunk, It cant be too big. You must be smaller then a ant if you cant move it by yourself. Im not no tough guy either, but I can move a 150+ pound box made from Three 3/4inch thick 4' by 8' sheets of mdf for my Two 18s by myself.

I say 7 cubed box would be better for a few reasons such as after you compensate for sub displacement which is about .2 or .3 cubed, and the port displacement which will be around 2-3 cubed your box you are left with is kinda small. Also since you wont be giving the sub a lot of power, a larger box will make the sub more efficient and be louder then the sub in a smaller box with the same power. As for that Performance Teknique amp... One word, GARBAGE. Why do you want to run it at 2 ohms anyways? If you get the HDC3 18 with dual 2 ohm coils, wire it in parallel for a 1ohm load at the amp, and get the AudioQue AQ1200D (1200wrms @ 1 ohm) for $249 Shipped and only $10 more then some pawn shop garbage or save up a little more and go with the AQ2200D (2200wrms @ 1 ohm) for $389 shipped. The audioque amps are by far better built, and cleaner sound. Not to mention they will do their rated power and then some, were as the Peformance Teknique will be lucky to do its 200-400 within its rated rms wattage on a good day. I know people with these subs running 2000-4000 watts rms of clean power for daily driving and they take it fine!!

I also use to have a CDA-D855 I loved the display on it, tho the cda-9833 walked all over it feature wise. I was a sucker for a spectrum analyzer back in the day, and still am. Wish more companies still had this feature on their headunits. Use to love my old Eclipses for that too. Think I had a 54403 or something like that.
