I was just going to post the similar info as sayhuh. I was asking steve about the light a weak ago.. and he said some should work iirc. But your not going to get that amount of uva - uvb light output from a reptile bulb. I use reptisun 10.0 bulbs for my parrot since he gets little natural light in the winter which is something birds, especially exotic birds need. These are some of the strongest reptile bulbs on the market. But beware because some come in uva alone, and some are uvb, however if the bulb IS uvb it automatically is uva, but not vice versa!!! These reptile bulbs are weak, they are made to be right on the side of cages, or ontop, the farther away they get the weaker they are. a 10.0 bulb is only putting out 10% of uva/uvb from the actual light output of the bulb. A 24inch T8 10.0 uva/uvb bulb is only putting out about 35mw at a 8inch height, 55mw at about 5inches away. mw = micro watts. As for black lights, I know they are stronger, a lot stronger and iirc they are uva, uvb, uvc. I done lots of research on the lighting and i thought I bookmarked a thread on a reptile forum that done intensive comparisons of reptile bulb but cant seem to find it. ;(

Click on the users name and goto their profile. On the left side menu bar it says "overview, profile feed, likes, friends, topics, posts, vehicles". Clicking on Topics will show that users recent topics they have started. Clicking on Posts will show that users recent posts in threads they have replied in.

That first video of the cop being pulled over doing 120mph just proves they are above the law. He walked away with a minor misdemeanor, in almost every state going 20mph over the speed limit is automatic license lost, let alone doing a 120, that is reckless driving, reckless endangerment, felony fleeing since he did not pull over or even acknowledge the officer chasing him lane for lane right behind him, in a company vehicle and he still has his job (cop or not, thats abusing your powers), and Im sure Im missing a few things that a normal civilian would have been sited for, whoops I almost forgot speeding.... To make it all better he was off duty and had to go play security guard, perfect reason................. But he got a minor misdemeanor, a slap on the wrist, kept his job, no points on his drivers license. You cant say that he is not above the law, because any normal person would be behind bars for couple months.

If you have a halfway decent box, I dont see 2400 watts being an issue to a pair of sa 12s. Ive been running a Sundown 4500 on the my pair of SA-12s since october, and they finally threw in the towel 2 nights ago.. thats not bad considering how much power I was pushing to them. Who knows how well my 4th order was for them, Ive chaged the box up a few times and each time it did get better in output and quality. Also a box for a pair of SA-8s version 1s I built, and had a hifonics 2400 pushing the pair and the amp was wired @ .5ohms, clamping a solid 2,000 watts rms. Sups are still working fine to this date.

So you actually think you will hear the midbass created from the sa-8s mounted on your rear deck, over the subwoofers in your trunk??? LOL Not to mention that even without making a separate enclosure for the sa-8s in your rear deck, I highly doubt the clearence would be there to slide a subwoofer box under them, let alone do it with some bulky enclosures under your rear deck for the sa-8s...
