    i was wondering the same thing!! those are the problems........use the same size wire and then find a different place to ground it! NOT THE TRUNK LID

    the exact same thing was happening to me......with DCs......and the one that was getting hot was reading dual 2ohm and not Dual 1 ohm like the other!!!! so i sent it back and had it reconed and it is on its way back to me now so hopefully that stops it!!! but the only thing you could do is switch the subs around and see it is stays with that sub or that spot!
