    Yea it's lightning audio flat wire. 1/0 gauge. so pretty much rf. so, whats the verdict on flat wire?

    But that 50 feet of 1/0 is flat wire. Whats the deal with that? Is it pretty much the same just in a different shape? Does it make it harder to get it through a firewall grommet? Thanks for the feedback, I'm waiting to order wire till I hear your opinions. PS: I got my amp!! haha im so stoked. T10001bd

    So you agree with me then. You can turn gains down. The amp works less hard. More efficient. The amps using less power with more signal voltage.

    No I wasn't being sarcastic. You can reduce your gains. If you don't, it is louder. The amp is given more of a signal, so it has less to amplify, therefore allowing it to achieve the same volume with less power. This is higher efficiency.

    It's the same connection. Running it off the alt makes it a straight run. Because normally you go from alternator to battery. So this is just keeping the engine bay less cluttered.

    The only model you could hate are the type e's. and nobody runs those anyway. so i dunno where you're getting off. Type S is a great all around sub for those who arent real bassheads and just want a lil bump. Type R's are good for getting loud, and Type X's are the SQ subs. Explain to me the problem with alpine's subs.

    The RF amps have a master/slave feature, meaning you can adjust them with just one amp (the master one). So I'm not sure if your amps can even be linked together

    How'd he attach that panel to the box then? Same way as GP did in the yota build? (make a slit for the screw and then cover it?) i dunno how well that would work with vinyl though...

    How do you do that front panel though? Is that a part of the box or a thin piece of MDF laid over the box?

    That looks so clean!! How do you go about upholstering that? I've been looking all over the internet for a vinyl upholstery tutorial and cant find sh*t. I'd really like to start doing some vinyl work

    That seems interesting to do both super and turbo, but as far as dual turbos go, they may look cool, but if you look at any fully modded supra or other stock twin turbo, they almost always go with one big turbo instead of two.

    I've been pulled over 5 or 6 times. Only one ticket. And that was a legit one for speeding. So I've been okay with cops so far. Still don't like em tho!

    Hey how good are the Hifonics subs? I know that their amps BANG! for the buck but I never really heard their subs. Ehh, theyre not bad. But they're definately known more for their amps. If youre doing subs on a budget too, I'd go with Alpine. Great subs and real cheap too.

    No just wire them in opposite phase. So that ones not going in while the other's going out. With subs, phasing usually isnt a huge deal, so just make sure theyre opposite, or else they will fight. In case thats not making sense, switch the positive and negative wires on the inverted sub.

    Is it good stuff? Or is it just Rockford's knockoff brand. B/c it's quite a bit cheaper than even knukonceptz, and i like to save money wherever i can without cutting corners. What should I go with? Im gonna need probably 35 feet of 1/0.

    Me personally if I owned a car audio company such as RF I would give Steve [glow=red,2,300]whatever the hell he wants[/glow].. He could possibly make any company look good. BTW got pics of your ride with all the memphis shit in it? hm...i cant think of anything he'd want that he doesnt already have haha...cept maybe a t15k. he's doing his job though, I wouldn't have thought to buy an RF amp if it werent for this site.
