  1. Why not a rockford t-1500bdcp?
  2. It does say 150 at 4 ohm's. But RF is known for being more powerful than what they're rated at. Plus, at that price point, it's the only decent amp.

  5. It incorporated everything. Steering wheel controls, OnStar, your chimes, everything.
  6. I am about to do an install in a '99 El Darado, I don't know if it has the same receiver or not, but I do know that it requires a special unit to make everything work correctly. I hope this help some.
  7. Why not get an AQ 750 for your current level 3, and then once you get a second level 3 get a second AQ 750 and strap them?
  8. My input is an American Bass VFL 80.1. Contact either Corona_Jeff or Dwright27 about pricing on that amp. I have two American Bass amps and love them to death.
  9. Bought an American Bass XD1000 from him. Fast shipping, works flawlessly. Kept me up to date on shipping and everything. Great to deal with. Will not hesitate ordering from him again.
  10. That would probably have to be the best looking girl's car I have ever seen. That looks slick, with a very very clean install.

  12. You need to run each woofer at 1 ohm. Then run all the wires to the amp. The amp will then see two one ohm loads, which equals a two ohm load. So each sub will be receiving 884 watts RMS before rise. I hope this helps.
  13. For a single mic set-up you are looking at $600+ and that is just for the basics.
  14. Wouldn't your coils getting warm be a sign of a clipped signal being sent to the woofer? Try setting your gains properly and see if the issue still persists.
  15. Why not just go with the AudioQue SDC 2.5 10's?
  16. I remember reading a small part in "The Car Audio Cookbook" and it stated that with coaxials, anything more than a two way is a marketing ploy.
  17. I have a Kenwood X994. I love it. The iPod control is great, 4V pre-amp outs, and a ton of adjustability.
  18. The problem with mainstream stuff is that it's pricey. Think of it this way also, with the constant power, you will be brand matching.
  19. Check out the music section. Look for Decaf's thread. There is a 50hz at 0db and a 1,000hz at 0db. Use the 50hz for tuning your sub amp and the 1,000hz for tuning your mids and highs.
  20. For the big three you will want to run the OFC. It will provide the most current flow.
  21. (SwaggerWagon): "I've had bad experience with AQ amps. Not saying they're a bad brand, but my good friend and I have both used them and had light dimming problems and had issues with the amps going into protect mode." sounds like they didnt have the electrical to back it up, thats not amp issues AQ is a very good brand i love my AQ2200D but out of those three, all will get the job done Well on that note... Sounds like a need a three sided coin...
