no , the rca's i am useing come with my rockford fosgate 1/0 gauge amp kit , i guess i will try that next . would like to think my rf patch cords are better quality than what i have seen at this point could be a slight manufacturer defect it happens -

yes replaced both also the cps. changed plugs, cleaned tb, checked for vaccuum leaks. one thing i did notice was that my wire harness was touching the exhaust manifold for some reason. so i secured that and for some reason it runs better lol. your wire harness against your exhaust manifold ouch probably runs a little better just cause there is less resistance heat + wire =resistancei have read so far could be a clogged cat from what i have read in this forum could be a rather small leak in the intake i also saw you said you tuned it up a bit have you checked the the spark plug wires you may have some the fire close together but aren't firing at the right time which could be a reason it is backfiring while speeding up have you changed the spark plugs cause i know high miles on spark plugs aren't good either mine were still factory but got the done the gap had actually increased

this gen impala that you are referring to is the biggest piece of shit car i have ever driven my family has had 3 buicks, 2 dodges, 1 ford, 1 pontiac, 1 infiniti, 1 chevy truck and a 2005 impala. and by far and away that impala has given us the most problems well i haven't had very many problems with mine
