    hes not saying try to blow them. yes they can take a 2200 watt amp. you wont see 2200 from it after possible voltage drop and impedance rise. lvl 3 m2s will take it without a problem. that would be your best bet for the money.

    the size looks about right if the amp is running at around 1 ohm. i would NOT do 2.5 ft. ive done extensive texting with a lvl 5 12 and a 3.5k dc amp and when it was loudest was at 1.6 cube and a single 6" aero that was 30 inches long. online thing i might suggest is drop the port size...which will drop the port length down a bit to try to keep the sub as responsive as possible. other than that you should be ok.

    m2s or m1s? if m1s its way to big also if that 10.7 net or gross? thats only 1.8 per sub if thats gross so thats not too far off 1.5 (spec) if m2s then (if i were building it) i would have built it bigger because you are running well under rms ratings, plus once you get all that rise you amp will be putting out alot less than 2400 rms.
