My porn collection is already past 300 DVDs, so no need to waste extra CPU cycles on that. I also do some web development with windows and Apache. What kind of video card setup do you have? Screens? Orientation? Sounds pretty legit. I took off one LCD to give to my oldest son, since his just broke. I am using one of my laptops as the 6th LCD. My setup is an AMD Eyefinity with 2 HIS H697FT2G2M Radeon HD 6970 2GB video cards. It does raise your electric bill by $20 a month, most of the time I only power up 3 LCDs since 6 at one time is only used for business related stuff. Gaming on the main 3 is also better than six. You don't get better FPS with 3 LCDs, I am going to start a rebuild on my upgrade this year. I am using 2 22" & 3 24" LCD's, which I'm going to change them all to 24" or try a new 3 way 32" setup. If Firefox 4 is giving your problems, you can always try Google Chrome or Safari.

Get more Ram, I got 32gb. Try using x64 instead of 32bits.

My wife needed a new phone so I got myself a new phone too, a G2x. I have always had a keyboard phone to type with, now I'm learning to use a virtual keyboard! So it's 4G dual core 1GHz with the Nvidia Tegra graphics. 3D gaming on a cell phone. Anybody else on SMD have this phone? Rooted with Gingerbread 2.3.3? Battery life sucks.

You may only get a few days, weeks or even a month depending on what type of cpu and video card you have inside. You can fix it yourself with lube, just use any lightweight mechanical oil, such as 3-in-1 household oil, will do just fine. You need to use only a single drop of oil. You should discover that the fan is running faster and quieter. Take the fan out, remove the sticker in the center of the fan. Pop off the middle cap, aka plastic plug and place one drop of oil in it. Put the plug back on, with the sticker over it. Connect it and your done! Your fan should last for at least 5 to 7 years.

I have, I was one of the first early adopters of LASIK. If I waited 10 years, I could have saved me about $4,000. Everything went well, but after 10 years my sight in my left eye had to be corrected with contacts. As you age, your eye can change shape.
