Those dimensions that you mentioned ALONE are a total of 3.43 cubes before ANY displacements are figured. You have to get a sealed chamber which is.65(maybe .5 for a 2:1 ratio) per each according to DC. Then you have to have about 1 cube per sub for ported side. That alone puts you at 3 cubes used. Then you have to add .15 per driver for displacment somewhere into the calculations. So basically you have .13 cubes for port displacement. I don't think you have enough space to properly do a 4th

CCA has nothing to do with multiple battery set ups. The only reason you would run an isolator is if you were gonna play with the car OFF and wanted the system to NOT pull from the starting battery so you could START the car after playing with the car off. ORRR, if you were running a flooded lead acid battery along with an AGM battery. Just get a battery that FITS your battery tray, and satifies the cranking amps required of your Caddy. Its that simple dude.

$1500-$2000 is way too low. I had that in my last system with just 2 subs an amp and my HU. That doesn't include the other amp, mids/highs, or all the wire and sound deadening. How much building have you done? A wall is really gonna be a project and requires a good plan before going through with it. Plan your electrical and wiring and what the car is capable of first. 150 isn't a bad goal, but it's not gonna come cheap or easy. After electrical is figured out, start getting it lined our for what size box you can squeeze as this will be a huge limiting factor in a compact car. Equipment should be one of the last things you think about. The plan is more important than the components used in the plan. The box build is THE most important factor.

I'm curious how you plan(where you plan) to bolt the box down. Through the back of the box through a sub hole? Through the bottom of the box into the floor? It's hard to get a still into a sun hole and get any leverage to drill through the floor. I'm just picking your brain to try to be helpful. I've been there SEVERAL times with this truck, so I just want to know what your plans are.

I'm saying on the SIDES of the tranny hump under where your box would be, you have a bunch of wasted space. Same thing if you don't utilize the space you can go DEPTH wise by getting your box UNDER your trim panel. Have you seen what kind of actual space you have to work with when you move the center console up and down? It swings BACK just so you know. A lot of box designs have a cut out or recessed area right there, to allow the console to go up and down without obstruction. I urge you to look and see for yourself

That's not nearly enough port area I'm afraid. You would need much more than that. Like 12-15 sq inches per cubic foot. Also, that design will rock back and forth. The transmission hump in that truck is slightly tilted forward. The box will try to lean forward as well as a result of this. You've got depth you're wasting by not going UNDER the rear window trim panel, a good two inches I'd say. I've built my box 14 inches of height to sneak it under the window line. Length is 56" and top depth is 7" bottom depth 10". You'll lose some volume, but you COULD fiberglass down past the hump and put the box to the floor and gain quite a bit of airspace I would guarantee.

Lower is not better, it doesn't work like that. It just gives you options on wiring multiple subs together. So you have the option to wire 2 subs that are both Dual 4 ohm coils to a final ohm load of 1 ohm or 4 ohms at the amp. Two dual w ohm subs would be able to be wired to .5 ohm final or 2 ohms. A single sub, like the one you have can be wired to 2 ohms or 8 ohms. A single 2 ohm can be wired to 4 ohms final load or 1 ohm. Its all about expandability and stuff, not about louder or anything like that.

Cut the hole then, and if you do, I'm tuned in for the build. I personally wouldn't do a blowthrough for a couple of 10s but it's your thing. A good idea for design would be to do a 4th order. You had mentioned you want a total of 6 subs right? So if you did 4 subs opposed to each other and the rear two on about a 45 degree, kind of firing out together, toward the port opening, I think you could get away with building it NOW. Dude....I KNOW you have a battery in the back, and it's the XS we have been talking about. The answer is, YES, you can run with that setup and be just fine doing it. Be careful is my advice though, on a stock alternator, and stock front battery. That amp you have us power hungry, the extra battery WILL help, but not for extended periods of playtime. I have no idea what vehicle this is in, or how yore amp settings are set. Not knowing how your gain is set, I can't tell you ANYTHING is safe really. You might be set where you're clipping to HIGH hell, I don't know that.

12.4V isn't bad, as long as it doesn't go below that. A battery in the back would definitely help. That Hifonics will pull quite a bit of current, so be careful.

I would run a 25o amp fuse and YES that battery will probably be enough. You do the Big 3 yet?

I was very happy with my Red Wings and if I ahd to be in a shop all day long and on my feet, I'd happily buy a pair again. Make sure when getting a steel toe that it's a good quality one. One that has a FULLY enclosed steel toe and not just a plate on top. If something falls on your foot with just the steel top, kiss your toes godbye.

You won't have "different" bass, you'll have an issue with wiring a sub that has a different coil configuration. You need to check your existing sub with a digital multimeter(DMM) and see what the coils are. Good luck trying to find an actual SE that is isn't the newer SEx series. You can also tell the ohm if you tell us how your sub is wired to your amp AND getting a reading at the speaker wires on the amp with a DMM and telling us the load on it. If your buddy wired your sub to 1 ohm, then it MUST be a Dual 2 ohm sub, that's if he knew which coil configuration you were running. If by some chance you have a Dual 4 ohm coil sub, you're ACTUALLY wired at 2 ohms.

You might be able to get away with NON-lexan. Acrylic for big fish tanks and stuff comes in 1" and bigger. Still expensive I would think though.
