  1. Thats cool to know you guys are switching out to some Sp4's. I didn't think there was enough space to mount them in that car.
  2. Works as advertised for me.Some just complain that its expensive but I guess that's all in the buyer. One thing you have to remember is that there's no such thing as the best in car audio only whats best for you and your situation.
  3. And these post were neither dumb nor smart in no way right? The only reason I posted that is because the only helpful posts were up top.Simply put I'm not going to clog up his post trying to answer your replies. If your going to post something post something helpful instead of being a smartass.Pm me if you feel like you have something else to say instead of posting it here. GM/RT
  4. Actually HT I wrote that before I even saw your post so chill with the smart comment. You get it cool beans.
  5. All the OP wants to know is if 2 boxes that are the exact same dimensions but with 2 different size aero ports would sound the same or different. If different then what would be the difference. He says the tuning and everything is the same.Would there be a difference due to different size port area?
  6. So what are the basic Grit sandpaper you need when dealing with fiberglass? Also what other tools would you recommend besides just a orbital sander?

i use 40 and 80 for fiberglass. and 80 to 180 for bondo. if u sand with 180 itll sand smooth enough that you wont see scratches in the primer. anything lower and you will. i go as high as 240 before primer sometime. just me...

  10. Thanks and Chief is wayyyyyyyy off. I got the time left to make it but I need to be smart about it and finish my CCAF and then my Degree
  11. Boy stop!!! So your going to spend all that money on a LvL 6 and then try to run it on stock electrical? Fail Fail Fail. Its going to laugh at you and then jump out the box and runaway. You need to do some more research before you jump into this because its obvious someone has been misinforming you. Look around the forum some and you will learn why people have that "Did he really just say that" look on their face.P.S there's no such thing as TOP DOG when it comes to car audio equipment.
  12. Specs on those subs say 4.5-6 cubes per ported. Plus if your over powering them you need to make the box smaller than the max. I'm not the expert on this but I say its a possibility that the size is hurting his score. Are you talking about a guy named Mondo on youtube?
  13. Alright I messed around with the numbers and this is what I could come up with.So for Ray and CJ is this close to what you guys were talking about?
  14. Sorry it was night time here in Italy and I was sleep but PM coming Heck

  18. Very good info.I have the calculator open now and I'm playing with the numbers.Soon as I get it together I will post the screen shot in here again for the final look over by you guys. Thanks to all for the inputs
  19. I want everything in the bed.
  20. So I got absolute max dimensions since I pulled everything out to start on the new box. Max Dimensions 23"H 44"W 50"D. The 50 depth could have been more but I need to be able to mount the batteries and the amp in the bed for the time being and the amp is 11 1/2 wide while the batteries are only nine. My bed can go back to 62 so that's how I got 50 with a little space between the box and the rack. Here's some pictures of the bed stripped down. Now I'm going to play around with the numbers and then get wood in the morning to start the box.
  21. How much are you looking to spend?
  22. Thanks and yeah its taking time but it is well worth it.
  23. Alright so let me fudge some more numbers here to see what I come up with before I go out to start pulling everything out
