Could be a faulty component setting off the clip if gains aren't too high.. I've seen that before. Caps started warping in a friends amp and the clip light wouldn't stay off

Lower sitting batteries? you mean a drained? Cause if that's the case then i haven't heard of that (maybe i should look into that.... but if you want to charge your batt's with that charger you could invest in a 1.2 ohm resistor that's rated for 120 watts.... I haven't found a resistor that big yet though trying to find one lol edit...i have a feeling my math may be a tad wrong there....

i would suggest getting a resistor on that charger you have. what kind of amperage does it output??

Ohm's law doesn't quite work for subwoofer/amplifier applications.... the impedance changes depending on the frequency you are sitting at... you can try to use the formula "(V^2)/R" but find a frequency that has your impedance at an average amount when you test the voltage

Try make a 5 sub box in which there's 4 subs across from each other and the fifth for the back... like a jack but with one side cut off... not sure of porting but i'm sure the air movement from the subs would be nutty
