So who can play low with authority ?
d3dreaper replied to ^_^ Gem132's topic in Tunez - All things music related
Did the test on my cheapass system lol... Raw video is being uploaded as we speak... and for 500w it held it's own there haha -
"Model Number: Rockford Fosgate " now that's funny... the title says "ROCKFORD FOSGATE T2500-1BDCP 2500W MONO Car Amplifier" so wouldnt the model number be "T2500-1BDCP"? Anyone want a nice cup of inconsistencies? Also if you look closely at the letters in the picture, there is a great deal of artifacts within them... Replaced watermark maybe?

What Frequency is this song !!!
d3dreaper replied to michigancapri92's topic in Tunez - All things music related
If my understanding of frequency readings is correct then 30-43-51-48 with a few sweeps from 54-110 also there's already a section for this What frequency is this song? I see that you already found it lol sooo scratch that -
We all use them, we all need them..

Just gotta say (and it might sound dumb lol) fingernail snips come in handy when your wire strippers are either shot or missing. -
Steve I got a couple things to say to those... 1. those are completely sick and i would like to one day have a chance to hear them first hand. 2. I want to say that i truly appreciate you sharing the build process as well as your knowledge in these areas. Not many shops around my county are willing to share information ( or give you completely false info on purpose) cause they're afraid others will surpass them. So again Thanks for the opportunity to learn and share with these forums here.

Introduce Yourself
d3dreaper replied to meade916's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Howdy Ya'll! a bit belated in introductions but hey, better late than never, right? I am Gary and i've been dealing with low-mid end car audio for about 5 years now... I'm not dumb but I definitely don't know everything... yet (j/k) I'm decent with building my own circuits to fit what i need and i can get annoying... so remember if i am bothering you in some way, let me know cause i probably didn't know it... soooo... yup that's about it... if you need help i am more than willing to assist (primarily in circuit design) and if i don't know then i can def. find out... -
LOL :-)

i'm pretty sure if they had "said device" then it would also fry the vehicle ecu among other things and start law suits against it... I'm sure it isn't real... and it could also fry pacemakers... Quick! put out that fire with this match and sticks!!! -
Modding a Battery Charger?
d3dreaper replied to Cardboardcat15's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Lower sitting batteries? you mean a drained? Cause if that's the case then i haven't heard of that (maybe i should look into that.... but if you want to charge your batt's with that charger you could invest in a 1.2 ohm resistor that's rated for 120 watts.... I haven't found a resistor that big yet though trying to find one lol edit...i have a feeling my math may be a tad wrong there.... -
Modding a Battery Charger?
d3dreaper replied to Cardboardcat15's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
i would suggest getting a resistor on that charger you have. what kind of amperage does it output?? -
Ohm's law doesn't quite work for subwoofer/amplifier applications.... the impedance changes depending on the frequency you are sitting at... you can try to use the formula "(V^2)/R" but find a frequency that has your impedance at an average amount when you test the voltage
-
Try make a 5 sub box in which there's 4 subs across from each other and the fifth for the back... like a jack but with one side cut off... not sure of porting but i'm sure the air movement from the subs would be nutty
-
^^ agreed.... as far as apps go i have to say that the tone generator app is the best one as far as testing goes
