  1. Thanks man, I can't wait to get those suckers pounding! C'mon Mr. UPS guy.
  2. I scored 24 but I'm a little drunk....so, it could have been some lucky guessing.
  3. Wow. You know it's loud when the sticker across the top of the windshield is too blurry to read.
  4. No kidding! Gotta love that Midwest weather. It was 70 yesterday, and it's 12 right now with 34 MPH wind....
  5. That sucker has seen better days
  6. Then another....then another....then another.... Happy Birthday
  7. What I was thinking about doing was taking the flaps out and leaving the vent there. The flaps are really thin rubber and I could probably just pull them out with needle nose pliers. The only problem I could see with that is driving on gravel or dirt roads. I imagine that a lot of dust is swirling around between the cab and the bed and would no doubt get sucked into the cab under the right conditions. The other problem is they pop in from the outside and once I remove them, there is no getting them back in without taking the bed off. Thanks for all the responses (the ones that weren't dissing my truck...j/p) David
  8. I got enough power to pull a bass boat and enough beer to not care whether the fish are biting or not!
  9. 1/2 ton crap....... thanks.....it is 4x4 with a Hemi ...What else could you want? And yes, I knew they were vents.....that's why I called them "vents" in my first post. I just didn't want to cover them up and start having the windows fog up all the time.
  10. I did my sound deadening across the back wall of the cab today which has been buzzing like a mother. When I took out the seats and got a look at the wall I found two large plastic vents with flapping louvres(sp) on them. I went ahead and worked around them because I didn't know what would happen if I just took them out and covered the holes. So anyway, the rattles are gone but the buzzing is still there and obviously coming from those vents. Does anybody know if there is any reason not to take them out?
  11. Hey slinky8733, I've got a '05 Quad Cab and I'm planning on going subs up, port front center vertical. I'm interested in your results. Keep us posted.
  12. As long as you're glassing those kick panels, you might as well enclose it and get a little better midbass out of them. And paint it black!
  13. I may be interested in the sub and box. I'm just 50 miles north of KC so no shipping needed. $? Also, what is the voice coil situation on it?
  14. Wow. That's some serious flex, alright.
  15. I'm jealous. I've been jammin' Parkway Drive alot lately.
