F*** buying used amps from people you dont know.. only way to get bc5500 to play was messing with the gains. couldnt even tune it with DD-1.. my boy cody took care of me and got me a new DC 5k. something i should have done from the beginning

its th gain though. i had issues making it play last week. ran new rca ans was playing very low. i moved it just a bit and bam was loud as f***. so its doing what it was doing last week whn i had just wired it.. if i mess with the gain i can get it to play. it has nothing to do with wiring it at .35 since i only played it for a minute or 2 without it getting hot or smoking

the amp was bought used from ebay. the rca inputs are loose.. im going to try and wire the rca straight from head unit to amp.. could also be the eq or epicenter
