My Mechman's regulator got damaged in shipping, which I found out after a few weeks of it being installed. Called up Eric and they had it in and out within 2 days, C/S is excellent! Has been sitting in the box for about 5 months now, just waiting a few more weeks to get my current build up and going, but when it was in, it was a total beast, had .2 of drop or less with a/c, lights, and an mrp-m2000 at 2ohms.

piece of string, mark your lengths you need to cut. Alt + To battery pos, self explanitory. Alt - to battery negative, easiest is probably to just use the alternator mounting bolt. And chassis to batt negative, locate a nice body ground and go to batt negative

Alright, So I'm soon to be ordering a d3100 & d3400 with a few sets of terminals from TeamProjectdB and I was wondering about the Mounting hole size. They have options of 3/8'' or M6/.25''. Just another case of me worying too much I'm sure.

Most Sundown amps are underrated, and they make power at 12v, not 14.4v. Speaking of which, Look on the FS Section here, can't remember the name but a guy has 2 mayhams and 2 BC2ks all for 300 each, heck of a deal there.

Alot of the CDE Alpines have Pandora features, I have a CDE-123 and love it, plus 3 sets of 4v preouts.

Not sure if it's true at all, but alot of box designs for those things call for 1-1.5 cubes ported which seems way too small to me, but meh. If it's true, get 2 mawr

I'd trade/sell the 18, or like Larry mentioned possibly get a recone for it and do a 15'' And I'd wait on the amp though, alot of people like AP, but it just doesn't sit right with me, and it's not the cleanest power out there. Figure out the sub situation, buy a DC/Mechman alt, then save for an amp imo. You don't want any more lost gear still a sad day to hear the brz bite the dust

Too many factors to say what would be loudest, but I'm sure if you just did a slot port sub back, port back you'd be plenty happy. Maybe try sub back port drivers side? Btw, what amp are you running now man? And saw ya frolfing with Billeh Err...what're your max dimensions??

I've had it installed for 3 years now, its just now starting to do this, used to take the abuse all day long. Im probably going with an AQ, which I've been wanting to do for a while, just need to save up some cash and keep the volume down for now while the shifty kenwood is on its last leg. I didn't expect it to last this long even. Hmm, well mine started after about 3 months, but it held up for another year, sold it to a friend and as far as I know it's still going strong. Not the greatest thing ever, but a fairly budget friendly amp that the average person can link to a namebrand.

Actually had the same amp like 3 or 4 years ago. It always would hit alot quieter after heavy bass notes and then go back to playing normally. Apparently it's not all too uncommon.

What're the gross and net cubes of this thing? Curious as the Escape's cargo area looked a little small to me, and I've got an explorer I'm putting hdc3 15's in and around the same tuning, but with a slightly larger box for them I'm guessing.

I HATE how the damn back seats are angled If you have a 2nd/3rd gen you should be able to go 41 wide though, not that that info will help very much
