  2. What about "brand X" oversized CCA 5243 higher strand count vs 1/0 ofc? Really I don't wanna see this thread drug out more, but where does oversized CCA fit in here?

  5. I have never run the SD-2 8, but I am currently running a SD-2 10 in a sealed box and it sounds great.

  8. I'd say 2 d3100's plus something decent under the hood at a minimum. Personally I would do 3 d3100's.
  9. I might have to try -2.5. For now I started with -0 and the wife is asking of I need nore bass. The easy answer to that is yes. I might have too much high, but sounding way better than before my amp swap. Snowdrifter, thanks for the files. I think I might have to try a -15 on the sub amp now.
  10. I am running passive crossovers with the amp set at HP 65hz. I just set it with the -0db 1kz track 2. about to go see how it sounds.
  11. As the the title states. I just upgraded my amps. My compoments are rated 90wrms and the are 2ohm. My new amp does 150w @ 2ohm. So should I use -0 or -5 to with the DD-1 to set my gains?
  12. Getting ready to order an SD-2 10. I still like to use my hatch occasionally and would like to put a grill over the sub to protect it. Does anyone (Rusty) have any recommendations?
