    I have to head for that snow storm monday for work. Half the people on my team who work in Bellevue were frozen and had power outages today. I live in the PHX metro area. I am gonna freeze to death up there.

    WOW!!! I remember that car. When I heard it I was so impressed I almost creamed myself. Most of the Bass systems around that time were mini trucks with snug top shells and the bed was full of subs firing up. In the early 90's it used to be parked at an audio express quite often. IASCA used to still be in PHX back then and we had double point DB drags sponsored by Alice cooper.

    Always sad to hear about someone passing. But you had a chance to make him a very happy guy and fulfill a dream of his. Props to you for taking the time to do a Demo for him.

    If your that determined to test/hear before you get the Fosgate. Test each sub one at a time on the good channel of the amp. Obviously the amp does not like load its seeing. I know the specs of your box. It doesn't sound like they are bottoming out.

    Here are 2 Rockford Fosgate 8's in a ported box tuned to 35hz. Right now they are powered by a MTX 2120 bridged to 200w @ 4ohm. 1 of the subs is a dual 4ohm wired to 8ohm and the other sub is a single 8 ohm. They are wired together for a 4ohm load to the amp. The crappy video is from my phone. The subs sound great, but need more power. My weekend didnt go as planned so the fosgate 500.2 amp did not get installed on them yet. quick vid of the subs flexin

    I was thinking about the 06 since it looks to be the last year of the old body style. The kia doesn't seem as cool to me.

    The 350z is about to be payed off. Of course both 79 and 96 chevy trucks are paid off. Thing is, all of them are toys/projects. Its time for me to get a good gas mileage daily commuter. Plus I can fit at least 2 dogs in a Scion XB at a time with the back seats folded down (Danes/Mastiff). Any opinions out there about XB reliability?

    Now remember this is a temporary box so I dont care how pretty it is. Just finished and it's 10:30 so I cant test it out until tomorrow night after work. 2 fosgate HE 8" going to be pushed with a 500.2 bridged to 500x1 @ 4ohm
