  1. it is bad math look at my post above It's not bad math, because you're comparing what you currently owe to what you originally borrowed. You still owe them $98. The error is in the comparison, not the math.
  2. ...and for $97 that shirt better be occupied by a chick with a great rack.
  3. The answer is there is no missing dollar. You have a $97 shirt + $1 in your pocket; you owe your parents $98.
  4. It's not bad math. You owe the parents $98, not $100. YOU ALREADY GAVE THEM $2 No missing dollar.
  5. Shirt = $97 Mom = $1 Dad = $1 You = $1 Total = $100 No missing dollar.
  6. -or- hooked up to one of those sick-ass original Cerwin Vega Stroker subwoofers...the ones with the vanes on them, not the spider as the dust cap. I can't find any photos of those bad-ass subs online though.
  7. Can you do everybody a favor and break out a tape measure and tell us the internal dimensions of your box? You're not getting anywhere with hypothesis and conjecture...this is science, after all.
  8. I would love to buy one of these but the $70 price tag for shipping isn't working for me.
  9. off topic, but the crossfire reminds me of a dog taking a dump. Anyway, the Pioneer 9600 might be up your alley:
  10. Even if you're not, a double-laminated piece of MDF would be very difficult to work with due to the weight.
  11. with that budget you're better off buying used.
  12. Most PC power supplies only put out like 10-15A unless you're dropping $150-$200 on a power supply.
  13. It's better than nothing, especially if OP thinks he's clipping already.
  14. Go to your nearest hardware store, spend a few bucks on a multi-meter and follow these simple directions to protect your thousands in equipment: http://forum.sounddo...er/65167/page/1
  15. Just a suggestion; you really should take a look at your dealer network, especially in Ontario. The ONE dealer you have is way out in the middle of nowhere, Ontario. I live just outside Toronto, and to make a trip to this one dealer is going to take me about 3 hours round-trip. I really want to drop about $300 on your product for my car, but it's tough to carve out half a day on already busy weekends just to make a trip to pick up a product.
  16. It's to pad the pockets of the Best Buy executives. Technically, yes it's to filter the power from the wall, but you really don't need it as the power supply in North America is pretty good.
  17. Nobody said it solved anything, it's just the reality of dealing with people in a forum on the internet. When people get behind a keyboard, for some reason they become smartasses. It's just a fact of life. You can accept it and read through it, or you can complain about it and get flamed for having sand in your vagina.
  18. Yep, that's just the way it is. Don't take yourself so seriously; you might actually learn something.
  19. You don't want to wire just 1 coil of a dual coil speaker, if that's what you meant. Noob question; why not? simple answer COMMON thought process will tell you the answer to this I can understand the obvious answer (it was designed with two, so use two) but the other comments made above made me think there was more to it than that. In my mind, using just one would be better than using two + a giant resistor, but I never claimed to know anything.
